Third person's POV

Just like how she promised Mina, Chaeyoung didn't ride her motorbike, she picks Rose up by a taxi instead. They then head to the restaurant, having a nice three courses meal. They enjoy their time together, catching up on things, having good lighthearted conversations, laughters here and there. They are now on their third course which is desert, it's a classic French creme brulee and it's one of the best Chaeyoung has ever had,

'Wow, this creme brulee is delicious.' Chaeyoung exclaims,

'I know right? It's my favourite dish here.' Rose says,

Chaeyoung calls the waiter over and orders one more serve of the creme brulee to take home,

'Do you like it that much, Chaeyoung? I don't blame you, I also had two serves the first time I tried it.' Rose says,

'It's not for me. It's for Mina, she loves sweet. And this is so delicious, she will definitely love it.' Chaeyoung says, smiles to herself thinking of Mina.

Rose looks at Chaeyoung, feeling displeased, 'Is Mina the only thing in your mind, Chaeyoung? Can you stop thinking about her for at least this entire dinner with me?'

Chaeyoung can feel that Rose is upset, the tension is starting to raise. She tries to ease the situation, 'Rose, are you alright?'

'No, I'm not, Chaeyoung. I...I tried to stop myself but...but I can't. I want to see you, I want to be next to you all the time, Chaeyoung.' Rose is now overwhelmed with emotions,

'We always can meet up from time to time. We are friends, aren't we?' Chaeyoung is still trying to calm her down,

'You know that is not what I meant, Chaeyoung. Stop avoiding the topic. Can't I...can't I just have a little bit of your heart?' Rose is on the verge of tears,

Chaeyoung takes a deep breath to finally face the topic. She looks straight into Rose's eyes, 'Rose, I'm sorry! Mina is the only one in my heart, and that is never going to change. Rose, you are so pretty, so generous, so kind, so sweet. You only deserve the best, you deserve someone who truly loves you, who gives you all their heart, who only has you in their mind. And when that person comes into your life, you will realise the feelings you have for me right now is just an infatuation.'

Chaeyoung has a way of calming people down with her words, Rose's tears are now falling one by one, she is deeply touched by Chaeyoung's comforting gesture, 'Chaeyoung, I'm sorry I let my emotions took over me just now. I...I knew your answer even before I asked, I can see how much you love Mina. I just wanted to have some time with you, to feel like you are mine for just a short dinner, that's why I asked you to pick me up, I wanted it to be like a real date.'

Chaeyoung has an apologically look on her face, 'Rose, I'm sorry...I...'

But Rose cuts her off, 'Chaeyoung, you don't have to say sorry. You have done nothing wrong. In fact, your words helped me to realise a few things, and one of those is that I shouldn't be asking for what is not mine. Chaeyoung, thank you for being honest with me and...thank you for giving me a proper closure.'
