Chapter 30

Third person's POV

Chaeyoung is now sitting on the sofa chair opposite to Mr and Mrs Myoui in their lounge room,

'Mr and Mrs Myoui, I managed to get the Mayor to approve the contract.' Chaeyoung says while presenting the contract to them,

Mr Myoui couldn't hide his amazement at what Chaeyoung just achieved, while Mrs Myoui looks at her proudly as if she knew Chaeyoung would be able to do it.

'Chaeyoung, you have surprised me to no end. I have to say, I'm very impressed.' Mr Myoui tells her,

Mrs Myoui smiles warmly at her, 'Chaeyoung, I'm proud of you.'

Chaeyoung bows at them, 'Mr and Mrs Myoui, I tried my best with the thought of Mina as my motivation.'

'Do you mind if I ask how did you get the Mayor to sign?' Mr Myoui asks,

'It's all thanks to the many selfless good deeds that you and your family have done throughout all these years. I just brought those to the Mayor's attention, and he was more than happy to sign it for your company, Mr and Mrs Myoui.' Chaeyoung replies,

Mr and Mrs Myoui smile brightly, very pleased with how Chaeyoung handled the situation.

'I will present this at the board meeting on Monday. Everyone in my company will have something new to learn from this.' Mr Myoui says,

He then looks at Chaeyoung, smiling warmly, 'Well, Chaeyoung, I'm very happy to accept you and Mina's relationship. Please take care of Mina and brings her lots of happiness.'

Chaeyoung stands up from her seat, almost jumps up out of joy. She composes herself, and bows deeply to them, 'Thank you so much, Mr and Mrs Myoui, I promise to always love and care for Mina. Please put your trust on me.'

Mrs Myoui nods at her, 'We trust you, Chaeyoung. We know you are serious in this relationship with Mina, so you can call us Mom and Dad, Mr and Mrs Myoui sound so distant.'

Mr Myoui nods along with his wife's every words, agreeing with the idea,

Chaeyoung has this huge grin on her face, 'Yes, thank you...Mom and Dad. But...uhmm, can I see Mina now?' Chaeyoung just can't wait to see her Baby,

Mr and Mrs Myoui laugh, 'Of course, Chaeyoung. Go tell her the good news.'

Chaeyoung immediately heads to Mina's room, her footsteps light and jolly, her heart dances with joy. She feels like a heavy load had been lifted off her shoulders. Mina is finally hers with the approval of her parents. That thought makes Chaeyoung feels like she owns the world, like she is flying between all the soft clouds, heading to the beautiful rainbow.

Her steps get faster and before she knows it, she is running, but when she reaches Mina's room, playful Chaeyoung comes out inside of her, and she decides to tease her Baby a little,

Chaeyoung opens the door, steps in with a sad face, she has her head down, looking like she has lost the will to live,

Mina immediately runs to Chaeyoung as soon as she saw her, 'Chaeyoungie, what happened? She asks,

Chaeyoung stays quiet, not answering,

'No..Chaeyoungie, you couldn't get it signed, could you?' Mina is on the verge of tears,

Chaeyoung is still looking down,

'No...no...no...it can't be! So we won't be able to see each other again?' Mina is now crying,
