Chapter 22

Third person's POV

One day before the uni camp, at the end of art class, Yeri purposely stayed back after everyone else has left, so she can talk to Chaeyoung. She walks over to Chaeyoung who is still immersed in her painting,

'Chaeyoung ah, can...I ask you for a big favour?' She nervously asks,

Chaeyoung turns her head to look at Yeri, puts her brush down, 'Yes sure, if it's in my ability, I will gladly help.'

'You know...my car broke down the other day, the mechanic said that the cost to fix it will be just as much as buying another car...' Yeri tells Chaeyoung while studying her face,

Chaeyoung nods and gestures for her to continue,

'So...I'm saving money to buy another car. Since we live in the same neighbourhood, I want to ask...if you...could give me rides to uni? Just until I have enough money to buy one.' Yeri asks, nervously waiting for Chaeyoung's response,

'Oh, is that so? Uhm...I see...uhm...' Being a nice friend that she is, Chaeyoung wants to help, but she knows that Mina won't be happy about it, so she is hesitating,

'It's ok if you can't help, Chaeyoung. Don't worry too much!' Yeri quickly says after she saw Chaeyoung's hesitation,

'No, it's ok. I will help, I will ride you to uni. We are on the same way anyway.' Chaeyoung feels bad to refuse, so she agrees to help,

Yeri has this huge smile on her face, jumps up with joy 'Thank you, Chaeyoung. Thank you so much!'. She says, suddenly gives Chaeyoung a hug, then runs out of the class.

Dahyun who saw the whole scene, shakes her head 'Mina unnie is going to kill you!' She tells Chaeyoung,

Chaeyoung has been holding her forehead with her hand 'I know, what am I going to do, Hyun ah?'

'I don't know, Chae. You could have said no to Yeri.' Dahyun says,

'I couldn't, Hyun. She needs help. I'm just gonna have to explain it to Mina, she will understand.' Chaeyoung says but she is not so sure herself,

'Didn't you say you are going to confess your feelings to Mina unnie at the camp? So you are gonna tell her "Mina, I love you, but I'm gonna ride another girl to uni everyday", I don't think Mina unnie will take it well.' Dahyun paints out the scenario for Chaeyoung to see,

Chaeyoung smacks her own forehead with her hand, feeling dejected 'God help me!'

Next morning at the university, everyone is gathered in front of the big parking lot, waiting to get on their buses, heading to camp. Students can just pick whoever they want to sit with in the bus, so the eight of them are in one bus together, and naturally Mina sits next to Chaeyoung. They are happily chatting with each other for half of the way, and the other half, Mina sleeps on Chaeyoung's shoulder. Chaeyoung of course gladly offered her shoulder, adjusting her positions to make it as most comfortable for Mina as possible.

They arrived at the camping site in two hours, getting out of the bus, they are welcomed by the fresh air and the most beautiful scenery. The small river in front has this emerald crystal clear water, with little waves hitting the bank once in a while, gives off such a calming feels. Those hills at the back are beautiful like a painting, with red, yellow and green leaves covered most of the area.

Students will be divided into groups according to which major they are in, and will stay in the tents that belong to that group. So Mina, Sana and Momo share one tent, Nayeon, Jungyeon and Tzuyu share another tent, lastly Dahyun with Chaeyoung in one tent.
