{Kurt}

Jon beat him back to the truck by barely a minute, but he was leaning casually against the passenger door, ankles crossed, like he'd been waiting forever when Kurt jogged around the bend.

Jon flashed him that show-stopper of a grin. "You want to unlock the doors for me, Visser? I understand you have a busy day and a very demanding boss, but maybe you can spare me a minute."

Kurt laughed, slowing to a walk to catch his breath. "I suppose I could be persuaded," he drawled. Cary's truck was so old he had to physically put the key in the lock to open the door.

As he did so, Jon slipped between his body and the truck, laughter in his eyes as he tucked his hands behind his back, not touching Kurt but so close Kurt could feel the warmth of his body between them. "Is there a prize?" Jon asked. "I think I'm the winner."

Kurt reached around him to unlock the door, very careful not to touch him back, just glancing down to murmur, "You didn't have the view I had, darlin'. I think I'm the winner."

As Kurt went around the truck to the driver's side, he heard Jon scrambling inside and the 'thunk' of the lock opening. He ducked into the truck and Jon's hands pulled him across the benchseat on top of him. Kurt barely caught the door, pulling it shut behind him, before Jon's mouth had his undivided attention. The glove compartment was shoved into the small of his back, and he blindly fumbled between Jon's feet to find the lever to move the seat back, abruptly dropping them almost horizontal.

They laughed and rearranged themselves, Kurt folding his long legs around Jon's hips, almost kneeling on the seat, his forearms resting beside Jon's face. Jon took a short breath, running his hands up Kurt's back, just looking up at him.

"Comfy?" Kurt asked.

"Very," Jon said. He reached his mouth for Kurt's, pulling him into a kiss that savoured the taste of him. With a glad sound, Kurt sank into Jon, running his hands through Jon's brush of hair, trailing his fingers over his cheekbones and even tracing the shape of his ears. He let one hand wander down Jon's throat to find the fret of his collarbone and finger the notes of a song. Jon made a little sound of pleasure, opening his mouth wider for Kurt.

God, he loved being right here-- Jon's strong legs underneath him, Jon's arms around him, Jon's mouth saying all the gently insistent things they hadn't been able to put into words yet. His boyfriend's eyes were closed, his eyebrows lifted like he was listening to a beautiful piece of music.

Doors slammed outside their truck, and they both flinched. Instinctively, Kurt pulled Jon's face against his chest, hiding him as he watched a couple Boomers in track suits jog over the grass to the trail.

"No one lookin' at us," he said quietly. "Just move along, folks. Nothin' gay to see here."

Jon's laugh was muffed, and his hands burrowed under the layers of Kurt's sweater and shirt to his bare back. Kurt yelped. "Jon, you're ice!"

"And you're sweaty," Jon said.

"This was your idea," Kurt pointed out.

"I'm not sorry," Jon murmured. His lips found the exposed skin at the base of Kurt's throat, pushing his collar aside with his mouth to trace his collarbone with the flicker of his tongue.

Kurt whimpered, tipping his head back for Jon to have more, more, more. Why were there so many clothes between them right now?

"I'm seeing you tonight, yeah?" Jon said. "I'm off at eleven."

Kurt's brain was hijacked by the brush of Jon's lips in the corner of his neck and other parts spoke for him. "I'm free right now," he said. "I'll call in sick to work."

Jon snorted a laugh. Everything he did underneath Kurt right now was arousing. "I'm pretty sure we're making out in Cary's work truck. You don't think that'll be a problem?"

Kurt drew away just enough to see his face, his breath catching and his heart galloping like they were still running. Jon's smile was so transparent, Kurt felt like he saw right to the bottom. "I can be late once," Kurt said, stroking his knuckles over Jon's freckled cheek, then letting his fingertips rest in the corner of his jaw, where his heartbeat throbbed. "I want you right now," he whispered.

"Me too." Jon bit his lip, pushing up against him. "Have me, then," he whispered. "Quick quick, Kurt. I trust you."

Jon's utter vulnerability caught Kurt back from the brink. He wanted to gobble Jon right up—his body ached for the relief of it—but in the front seat of Cary's truck, in public, in the plain light of day, when any number of things could alarm Jon in the middle of whatever and close him up tight again? Kurt could be quick—but that wasn't the best thing for Jon.

Kurt made a raw noise, curving his body away from Jon's. He kissed Jon on the mouth and clambered awkwardly back into the driver's seat, trying to persuade all the blood to return to his hands and feet and brain. "I think we better wait, love."

Jon turned his face to him, bemused, his eyes nearly gold and soft with desire, his hair and clothes deliciously mussy, his lips swollen with kissing.

Kurt cleared his throat and waved his hands. "Shoo. Back to your car. Before I change my mind and fuck you silly in the middle of this very public parking lot and get us both charged with indecent exposure."

Jon groaned, pulling his seat back upright and cupping his hand over his lap. "When did you get so responsible?"

"Someone I love is rubbin' off on me," Kurt said. The l-word dropped out before he could catch it back. Jon barely twitched, his eyes lowered and colour high in his face.

"I'd like to rub off on you right now," he muttered.

Startled, Kurt's laugh filled the whole car, and Jon laughed softly with him. "Jon White, you sexy homo, get out of this truck or you're gonna need a pair of cuffs to keep my hands off you."

Jon stepped out of the cab, giving him a look over his shoulder so hot Kurt smelled the fire. "See you tonight?" Jon asked.

"It's gonna be worth the wait," Kurt said.
