"Come on we're nearly there" said Sheer to the other two as they three ran as fast as they could to the D Lab
They were nearly there when-

The three stopped quickly turning around in the direction where they heard the scream
"Great what now" growled Sheer "I think that was Max" said Foolscap
"And?"
"Well maybe we should help" said Gavro a little concerned
"No"
"W..What"
"I said no" repeated Sheer looking to the two men "We owe him nothing nor should we get more involved than we already are", Gavro groaned a little she couldn't really think of letting him die right Max is still just a kid
"It's not about us owing him anything it's what's doing what's right how do you know he isn't about to be killed by an Aeon" said Gavro glaring at Sheer
"Do I have to go over this again Gavro are you really that dense?" asked Sheer rubbing her eyes in annoyance "Helping him won't gain us anything and it's not like he would ever help us when we need it"
As the two argued back and forth Foolscap was left just standing there awkwardly waiting for it to be over he wasn't sure who's side to take in this, both of them had pretty good points but from a moral standpoint he was unsure
Who should he side with?
"I'm not going through this argument again Sheer, I don't care what you have to say I'm going to help him you can do whatever you want" snarled Gavro before he took off in the direction he heard the scream
"Fine! But I'm not saving your dumbass if you get hurt" snapped Sheer before hurrying towards the D Lab "H...huh WAIT NO DON'T LEAVE ME HERE ALONE! GUYS WAIT UP" panicked Foolscap as he took off after Gavro

"Where'd Max run off to" questioned Rex as he turned to Zoe whom was wheezing having been non stop running for the past five minutes "I don't know...I think he ran that way" said Zoe trying to catch her breath "Wait isn't there hunting traps down that way" asked Rex his eyes widening with fear and dread
"Yeah...Oh no did he" asked Zoe "I don't know...come on we gotta find him and watch your footing " said Rex as he hurried in the direction of where they both suspected Max had run in
"Max you idiot you're going to be the death of me"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" screamed Max as he fell to the forest ground an unbearable pain surging through his body but mostly in his foot and ankle
His screams of agony filled the now nearly night air as he struggled to move, any movement he made even a millimetre caused him to scream in pain
Max nervously glanced at his foot, wanting to see what had happened to cause him such pain.
His eyes widened in horror at the sight of the carnage
