Darkness unleashed

A creeping darkness

In deep space lyed a planet engulfed in nightmares and darkness on it's surface were pure creatures of darkness they had a striking resemblance with a familiar evil.

The dark pterosaur the creatures of darkness had brought this darkness with them when they arrived on the planet they turned it into a nightmare realm but they sought more, they wanted their evil to reach to every last corner of the galaxy. A creature with glowing pale eyes bellowed a loud sharp frighting screech much similar to a bat as it looked to it's brethren

The other creatures bellowed a similar screech as they took to the air they flew to the planets atmosphere they flew into space not affected by it's freezing temperatures or lack of gravitons they flew through the empty void in search of a new planet to turn into a nightmare realm.

Meanwhile hundreds of parsecs away on Earth in Sanjo city, Max Taylor and Zoe Drake along with their parents and friends Aki Taylor, Spike Taylor, Dr. Drake, Mrs. Drake, Reese, Patrick, and Dr. Owen were waving their final goodbye to Rex, Rod, Laura, Chomp, Ace and Paris as the Spectral Space Pirates ship began it's journey into the time stream making it's final jump.

Max and Zoe did their best to hold back tears as they watched their friends leave forever "We'll probably never see them again " muttered Zoe

"Yeah, that's the part that hurts the most" said Max as tears shyly formed in his eyes as he gazed at where the space pirates ship once was.

{Three years later}

Max was resting on his bed he held his old Dino Bracer in his hands fiddling with it as memories flashed in his mind from three years prior

"Rex, I hope your well" thought Max as he gazed at his Dino Bracer he gently touched the D teams logo

"Max it's time for dinner"called Aki "Yeah, be there in a minute "replied Max as he continued to gaze at the Bracer " We miss you Rex, we wish you could come back but I guess that'll never happen" thought Max he heard footsteps come up to his door as his door opened "Max Taylor I won't say it again dinner is ready so ... " started Aki as she walked into the room to see Max lyed out on his bed fiddling with his dino bracer

" Max is ... Rex still on your mind" asked Aki "Of course he is mom" said Max sadly " We all miss him as well as Ace, Paris and Chomp" said Aki walking over to her son and gently stroking his hair

" I wish they were all able to come back just so I could them again and for Zoe to see them too" said Max solemnly

Aki felt bad for her son "Max I know this is tough but eventually I think you'll need to move on you know, believe me I've somewhat had the same feeling when I lose someone close it feels like a part of you goes with them and as much as it hurts to accept sometimes you just need to move on for the better because your heart and mind cam only dwell on something sad for so long before it turns against you"said Aki sadly

"It's easier said than done Mom, I know you have good intentions but I don't think I'll ever be able to get over losing my best friends " said Max clutching his dino bracer tightly

"Come, maybe having dinner with your family will help ease the pain a little"said Aki " Yeah, maybe" said Max as he walked out of the room with his mom but not before glancing at a framed photo of him, Zoe and Rex along with Ace, Paris and Chomp all having a good time together in the park.

"I miss those times" thought Max as he followed his mother down the hallway and into the dining area where his father was already waiting for him at the table

"Ah there you are Max " said Spike with a smile "Hey dad" said Max in a bit of a dull tone " What's wrong Max" asked Spike curiously noticing his son's sadness Max sighed " I miss Rex and Chomp" said Max sadly

"We all do Max" said Spike comforting his son, the three had dinner together and afterwards Max went back up to his room and looked out his balcony he gazed at the stars

" It feels like just yesterday I saw that meteor fall with Chomp's card and Lighting stone and how the whole adventure started ... one I wish never ended the way it did" said Max

"I wish I could see him again, see them all again just so I knew they're ok " said Max softly unbeknownst to him that wish may soon come true.
