Chapter 19: The first round

Y/N POV:

"Now the introductory speech!"

Midnight announced as the other people in the crowd started to simp for her, this was a common thing after all.

"Uh, someone should talk to miss midnight about what she's wearing."

"Yeah, that costume should come with a warning."

"Is that even appropriate for a high school game?"

"Apparently and unfortunately, yes."

I responded to Tokoyami as Mineta just gave a thumbs up while blushing.

"Silence everyone!"

Midnight said as she continued.

"And for the student pledge, we have.. Katsuki Bakugo!"

Huh?! Wait are they serious?

We all looked surprised at Bokugo as he made his way to the platinum.

"He's the first-year rep?"

"Yeah, I guess that him having pretty high points in the entrance exam kinda pays up."

"Yeah, and it really shows."

Me and Sero spoke

"*Sight* only for the hero course exams."

"Oh right."

A girl from 1-C spoke looking annoyed.

"That girl hates us!"

"It's not like we didn't notice!"

"Yeah and we got Bakugo to thank for them not liking our class."

Oh this is bad..

As he got up on the stage he turned to the microphone, all of us were nervous as hell.
Everyone looked at him waiting for what he's about to say.

"I just wanna say, I'm gonna win."

I KNEW HE'D SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!

"BOOOO!"

"WHAT DID HE SAY!"

"THAT'S SO FULL OF YOURSELF!"

And other angry comments came from the other first years.
He was facing the audience and so he didn't saw the others booing him and their faces of anger and irritation.

"Why would you be so disrespectful, you're representing us all!"

"Not my fault the rest of you are just stepping stones to my victory."

He said he gave a thumbs down.

"I'm gonna crush this overconfident jerk, I can't wait to knock him down!"

Everyone was shouting and getting angrier by the second, I don't know if he's trying to force himself into winning or just make this all look like a joke.

"Without further ado, it's time for us to get started!"

"UA really doesn't even let us to catch a breath huh?"

"This is where you begin feeling the pain!
The first game of the festival! What could it be?"

'Obstacle Race!'

"TA-DA!"

"So it's going to be an obstacle course. Well, that's just great."

"All the other classes will participate in this treacherous race, to practice four kilometers outside of the school, I don't wanna restrain anyone at least in this game~"
