Epilogue

The journey was beautiful.... Even more than the destination.

" I want a divorce!" Alaia yelled and I flinched, gulping down in fear while she looked at me red eyed.

She sat on the sofa with a huff, crossing her arms and I looked at her helplessly. Ducking her head down, she tried fighting back those tears which made its way to her eyes.

" Alaia..." I desperately called out, walking near her but she stopped me by showing her palm.

" Stay there Mr Johnson" she whispered harshly, tears rolling down her cheeks.

" bu-" I was cut off a loud bang.

I flinched and turned around and looked at the person who just knocked down a showpiece. I shook my head with an irritated look, gazing at my best friend who just interupted our conversation.

Nick, Jake, Macey and Laura came running to the hall and the sudden urge to bang my forehead was so bad that I wanted to hit my head with a wall.

" What happened Alaia? " Macey mumbled, munching on her chocolates.

Alaia's gaze snapped towards Macey who was busy devouring the sweet taste of chocolates, her eyes turned red.

" How dare you eat my chocolates!" she roared and everyone present there flinched, including me.

The chocolate fell from her hands and she looked at her wide eyed. Nick stumbled back in shock and Jake gulped visibly while Laura had an understanding face.

" Chocolate.... But... jeez! I am Sorry " Macey mumbled in confusion, scratching her head slightly.

" But why do you want to divorce Ashton?" Jake asked, recovering from the shock.

She looked at me with disgust and turned around to face them.

" He cheated on me..." she said, her eyes tearing up.

My eyes widened in shock, this time Laura stumbled back almost falling down but Jake held her in his arms.

They all looked at me shocked while Alaia burst out crying. I cursed under my breath and rushed to her, engulfing her in my arms.

I stroked her hair and she cried harder, hitting my chest and I winced.

Her punches are yet more powerful....

She pushed me hard and I stumbled back, falling on the ground.

" Oww! " I groaned as my back hit the floor.

" Ashton you cheated on her!" Macey exclaimed and I flinched, trying to sit up straight.

" Oww my back..." I muttered, rubbing my back which hurt badly.

" Who is that bitch! Huh.... Tell me Alaia. I will scratch her face " nick said furiously, eyeing me with anger.

This piece of shit!

" and don't worry...... I will do the honour of killing Ashton also" he added, breaking his knuckles.

I shuddered slightly, at their intense gazes. I looked at Alaia who was looking at nick with a confused face, tears still falling from her hazel orbs.

" whose face will you scratch and why?" she asked confused and wiped her tears away, with back of her palms.

" You only said right, that he cheated upon you so I will scratch that bitch's face " nick said and Alaia frowned.

" But there was no girl "

" there was no girl?" He muttered to himself, confused.

Suddenly his eyes snapped open and looked at me with horror filled eyes. I shifted back slightly, not really knowing what was coming.
