(Author's Note)

Hello everyone!

Funtime Foxy is male and this and Ennard doesn't exist. Also, Y/N (you) doesn't have a specific gender or anything so anyone can read this :)

The animatronics are also humans but still robotic-like if that makes sense.

At Your House

You were browsing through the different TV programs, nothing seeming to catch your interest. That was until you stopped at a Circus Baby's Pizza World commercial. You had heard about the new pizzeria, it had opened up and swiftly closed due to gas leaks.

Well...I do need a job. You thought. This could be my chance.

Getting off the sofa, you grabbed your phone and dialled the number. As you patiently waited for someone to pick up, you couldn't help but notice the animatronics on the screen.

There was a tall white animatronic, who you assumed to be Circus Baby, the leader. Your gaze then turned to the slender ballerina-like figure beside her. She must be Ballora. You looked at the other three animatronics. They appeared to be more animal-like. There was a pink and white fox, must be Funtime Foxy. Beside the fox was a purple and white bear. Must be Funtime Freddy. You also noticed the bear held a blue bunny, must be Bon-Bon.

"Hello, you are calling Circus Baby's Pizza World," a man's voice interrupted your studying of the animatronics. "How may I help you?"

"Oh, hello!" you started. "I was wondering if I could apply for a job here?"

"Hm...let's see..." the man mumbled, typing something on a keyboard. "The only job available is a night guard job, is that okay?"

"Yeah, that's perfect!" you exclaimed, tightening your grip on your phone.

"Alright."

You silently squealed in delight. You were finally going to get a job and maybe earn a good amount of cash! Something was on your mind though. Why did nobody want to take the night guard job? It couldn't be that bad, right? All you would have to do is watch over the animatronics, it couldn't possibly be that difficult.

"What's your name?" the man asked.

"Y/N. Y/N L/N, sir," you answered politely.

"Great! You can start tomorrow, is that alright with you?"

"Yeah, that's awesome!" you smiled.

After saying your goodbyes, you hung up the phone and placed it on a nearby table. You couldn't take in how excited you were. Even if it turned out to be a difficult job, you were prepared and ready to face any challenges that came your way.

Hmm...maybe I should tell F/N about the news.

You've been friends with F/N for as long as you could remember. Nothing could separate you guys. You remembered that your friend worked at a nearby coffee shop. You decided to go there to see if they were working, maybe then you could share the news.

Grabbing your F/C bag, you headed out the door and walked to the coffee shop. It wasn't that far from your house, only a few blocks away. You normally visited to get a coffee, sometimes you would just read there. It was your favourite place to go in your town. You weren't sure why though, something about the place just comforted you.

Entering the coffee shop, you walked up to the counter and looked for your friend. After a few minutes, you finally spotted them and waved them over.

"Oh Y/N!" they exclaimed, rushing over. "It's so great to see you! What's up?"

"Oh, nothing much!" you smiled. "But I do have something to tell you!"

F/N smiled. "Well...go on, tell me!"

You grabbed your friend's hand and took them over to a nearby table. On your way there, you noticed how empty the place was. Normally the place was packed, but today there were only two or three people. It seemed strange to you, but you didn't question it, you had more important things to focus on.

"Alright," F/N sat down in front of you. "Tell me the news."

"So..." you started, placing both of your hands on the table. "I got a job!"

F/N's eyes widened. "What, really?! That's amazing! Congratulations! Where do you work now?"

"Circus Baby's Pizza World," you explained, smiling."I think it got closed down, but they had a night guard job available."

"What...?" F/N's smile faded. "Circus Baby's Pizza World...?"

You raised an eyebrow. "Yeah...what's wrong with that?"

You had no idea why F/N acted like that. Sure, it closed down because of gas leaks, but it wasn't that bad. The job wasn't even that dangerous, right? It's not like F/N was doing your job. You were sure it would be completely safe; they wouldn't even have job offers if it was too dangerous, right?

"You idiot!" F/N stood up and shook you. "Do you know how dangerous that place is?!"

"What are you talking about?" you asked.

"They have killer robots there, Y/N!" F/N hissed. "You'll get killed!"

"Woah, woah, woah!" you put your hands in front of you. "Don't jump to conclusions like that! It's not like you're working there!"

F/N sighed and sat back down, not even trying to make eye contact with you. You had no idea what was wrong with them. But you really wanted to find out.

"Look..." F/N started, slowly making eye contact with you. "I may not be working there but...I've heard the rumours."

"What rumours?" you asked, biting your lip.

"I heard the creator of the robots made them to kill children," they started. "Each one of them had different killing styles, different ways of luring and killing the children. I also heard, the place didn't close down due to gas leaks. In fact, some say that the creator's daughter didn't go missing, some believe she was killed. Killed by one of the animatronics. At first...I didn't believe it. But then it all started to make sense... I put all the pieces together. Circus Baby killed the creator's daughter."

You went silent. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Circus Baby killed the creator's daughter? No way...that was a stupid rumour...right? Nobody had any proof of it, and either way, you needed the job. How else were you supposed to pay your bills?

"Well, that's just a rumour," you assured. "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me." You slowly stood up from the table and made your way to the door. "Oh, and don't believe everything you hear."

With that, you walked out of the coffee shop, leaving your friend sitting there in disbelief. As you headed back to your house, you couldn't help but clench your fist at the thought of F/N's words.

They're wrong. The animatronics aren't dangerous. I know it.

At Your House

When you got back to your house, you placed your F/C bag down and headed upstairs. You took a quick shower, got changed, and headed to bed. Pulling the covers over you, you tried falling asleep, but nothing could shake the thought away.

Is that place really dangerous? Are the rumours true? Will I really die if I work there?

Trying to brush away the thought, you slowly closed your eyes and gradually drifted off to sleep.
