Anger; Sadness. These were the feelings which ruled in my heart in that moment. Since we had returned from King's Landing, Jon had been very lonely and barely spoke with anyone. My heart ached for the King of the North, the king of my heart, but I didn't know how I could comfort him after the loss he had suffered. "WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO ME?????" I mentally yelled as I stood in one of Dragonstone's rooms, my stare fixed to the landscape around the castle "I DON'T WANT TO BE JUST YOUR QUEEN. WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO CONVINCE TO OPEN YOURSELF TO ME???. I HATE I CAN'T HELP YOU WHILE YOU HELPED ME TO KEEP THE ONES I LOVE FROM DYING!". My mind revised what had happened since we left Winterfell to the deaths of Sir Davos and Jon's friend. "There is only one person who could have revealed our plans to the enemy" I thought in anger "I was a fool to believe he wanted to support me". "Your grace?" a familiar voice interrupted my ruminations. I slowly turned around, only to find Tyrion and Varys looking me with worry. "Your grace, are you alright?" Varys asked me. "Now you are concerned about my well-being?" I thought, rage feeling me "If you truly supported me, why did you reveal our plans to Cercei Lannister?". "The enemy managed to catch us by surprise" I hissed, walking closely to him "And my most important ally lost two people close to him". I paused and looked Varys straight in the eyes, anger overwhelming me "I hope you are satisfied of your work Varys" I continued "Thanks to the help you gave to Cercei Lannister, Sir Davos and Jon Snow's friend lost their lives: In addiction, other soldiers of mine lost their liv.....". "Your grace I..." Varys attempted to speak. "NO, DON'T SPEAK!" I yelled angrily "I TRUSTED YOU! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME IN THIS WAY????". "Is it true Jon Snow is the son of your brother Rhaegar?" Tyrion asked at this point. The question made me froze and I didn't know how to answer. "You grace, lord Tyrion asked you a question" Varys said "Is it true? This means Jon Snow has an higher claim on the Iron Throne than you". "I....I...." I started, desperately trying to formulate a proper answer "This is none of your business". "It is our business, your grace" Tyrion said "You should have shared this with us, not keeping it in secret along with Jon Snow". "Who told you this?" I asked, anger and fear evident on my face "WHO???". "Sansa Stark" Varys answered "She heard everything you and Jon Snow discussed with Bran Stark and Snow's other friend". I closed my eyes when I heard that answer, unable to tolerate this terrible news. "So Sansa Stark, is this the way you repay both me and your adoptive brother for the efforts we put in saving the North? I should have let you die at the hand of the Night King and his army instead of saving your ass. Thanks to you and your friends, Jon lost two people close to him". "Grey Worm!" I called my most powerful Unsullied. "Your grace" Grey Worm immediately entered in the room. "Escort both lord Varys and Tyrion to their cells" I ordered, hoping this measure was enough to prevent both of them to cause more damage. "Your grace, I didn't do..." Tyrion desperately tried to defend himself. "You may not have given my war plans to your sister" I calmly said "But you didn't stop Varys from betraying me. You are in league with him Tyrion Lannister and for this reason, I won't let you free". With these final words, I turned my back on the ones I thought they supported me and turned back to the window, desperation and helplessness my only companions.

"Jon?" I shily asked several hours later. Knowing the king in the North needed someone who could comfort him, I finally decided to face him. I thought he was somewhere in Dragonstone but I soon realized he wasn't in the castle. Decided to find him, I summoned Drogon and went outside looking for him. Finally, after several minutes of search, I found him sitting alone on the beach. Seeing his mind was far away from his surrounding I silently set beside him, my mind searching for the right words to tell him. "Jon" I called him again putting my hand on his right shoulder. Jon emitted a gasp when he felt my hand on him and quickly turned to me. "Your Grace" he said in confusion "I'm sorry I wasn't...". "It's alright, you don't own me any apology" I told him softly "I....I was looking for you". "Something wrong?" Jon immediately asked, concern on his face "I mean.....". "I arrested Tyrion and Varys" I answered "because they betrayed us". "WHAT?" Jon asked in surprise "HOW IS IT POSSIBLE???". "They gave our war plans to Cercei Lannister" I said, anger on my face "That's why they managed to catch us by surprise". "But why?" Jon asked "Why did they do this?". "Your sister Sansa told them the truth about your heritage" I answered "She heard us when we were talking with Bran and Samwell. I'm afraid in time everyone will know who you truly are". Jon closed his eyes when he heard my words and slowly stood up. "I....I need...to go" he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "NO PLEASE" I yelled standing up as well, pain depicted on my face "DON'T GO". "Daenerys please....I can't deal with this" Jon said backing away from me, tears starting to roll on his face "My sister betrayed me, I lost my friends, I was revealed a truth far worse than the Dead Army. I need to deal with all of t...". "Alone?" I interrupted him as I stood in front of him, tears feeling my eyes. "Why don't you let me help you?" I asked him, my voice trembling with emotion "You helped me in keeping my friends and children in safe. Please, let me help you". "There is nothing to be done" Jon said in an hopeless voice "I can't be helped I'm afraid". "Don't say this" I pleaded, putting my hand on his lips "I understand you feel lost, you feel alone but you don't have to face all of this all by yourself". Seeing my words had an effect on him, I leaned closely to him. "Jon I need you in my life" I confessed "I can't liv....". "No, don't say this" Jon interrupted me, anguish on his face and backed away again. "You don't need me Daenerys Targaryen. I only bring destruction to the ones who dare to care about me". "No, I won't accept this" I vehemently said as I walked towards him again "I can't accept you are a mons...". "What if I tell you I am the one who kills you?" Jon interrupted me again. My breath didn't work properly when I heard those words. "What...what did you just say?" I asked, feeling pressure on my chest. "My dream" Jon started without looking me "Showed me the future. We...we fell in love and that was your downfall". "Why?" I asked trembling with emotion "How could you do this? You are an honorable man, I can't believe this". "I know" Jon said, anguish printed on his face "I did what I did because you lost everyone you cared about: Jorah, Rhaegal, Missandei. In addiction, Tyrion and Varys betrayed you and I.....I couldn't continue to love you because we are of the same family". He took a pause to collect his thoughts. "You couldn't accept all of this shit" he started again "And....". "And what?" I insisted, preparing for the worst "What happened?". "You got crazy" Jon finally said, still unable to look at me "The pain you felt made you crazy and when we attacked King's Landing, you destroyed everything with Drogon: all the ones who were in King's Landing died during your rampage". Jon's revelation shocked me: I always knew I had a dark side which was typical of the Targaryens but I couldn't accept in Jon's vision I turned into my father. "So....this is the reason you did...what you did" I finally said, my voice trembling with emotion "I was a danger to everyone and I had to be stopped before I caused more damage". "That's what Tyrion said to me in order to convince me to....kill you" Jon said as he finally rose his face to look at me "He told me you would destroy Westeros if you were left alive". He took another pause to reflect. "This is why I did my best to protect Missandei, Rhaegal, Sir Jorah" he said "I couldn't let my vision come true. I had to do something before it was too late. Sir Jorah died because I let him take part to the battle against the Dead Army and as a result of this, I saw you mourning again for a person close to you. I can't let Rhaegal die". "And what about you?" I asked at this point, tears rolling on my cheeks "You want to prevent the ones I love from dying. Who is going to protect your loved ones? Sir Davos and your friend died and I did nothing to prevent this". "It isn't your fault" Jon said, anger starting to feel him "I am the one responsible and it my duty to vindicate both of them". Fear invaded my heart when I realized what Jon had in mind. "Jon please" I begged him "Don't give in to Anger. We can find another way to...". "In my vision, you fought to vindicate both Missandei and Rhaegal" Jon replied, rage overwhelming him "Why shouldn't I do the same? Cercei Lannister killed my advisor in cold blood and can't be left unpunished for the murder she committed. I swear to you Cercei Lannister will be dead very soon and you will sit on the Iron Throne along with your children, Missandei and Grey Worm at your side". With these final words, Jon turned my back on me and left the beach, leaving me sobbing for him.
