"We must survive, we must survive" I mentally repeated as I watched the Dead army towards us. "We can make it Khalesi" Sir Jorah said, sword at the ready "They will be defeated, I'm sure of this". "Let's just hope we won't have to suffer too many losses" I simply replied, my gaze never leaving the approaching enemy "After this battle, we have to deal with Cercei Lannister". Finally, after what had seemed an eternity, our enemies charged us, decided to put an end to our lives. The horrific march of the Dead however came to an end when the soldiers got impaled on the pikes Jon had instructed to place in front of Winterfell. "Yes" Sir Jorah exclaimed in joy "I told you we.......". he stood in silent astonishment when he saw the Dead diligently evade the pikes. "NOW!!!" Jon's voice coming from behind us yelled and after a few seconds, we saw many arrows striking down the enemy's soldiers. "Now things are going better" I said in satisfaction as I watched more and more Dead falling at the hand of the Northern archers. Suddenly, a familiar roar came from the distance and some moments later, I saw Rhaegal with Jon on his back launching an attack on the Dead army. "Jon be careful" I thought as I anxiously watched Rhaegal incinerating the Dead. "NOOOO!!!!" I yelled in horror when I saw the enemy preparing a crossbow to use against my child. "RHAEGAL GO.....". The crossbow fired but with a quick turn, Rhaegal managed to escape just in time. "I go there" I said and walked towards Drogon. "Khalesi are you sure?" Sir Jorah asked me worriedly "Let the soldiers.....". "What kind of Queen I am if I do not take part in the battles in which I am involved along with my soldiers?" I asked as I mounted on my child "Drogon and Rhaegal are our only chance to defeat the Dead so we have to involve them in the battle". With these final words, I leaned on Drogon's head and let my child take me to the battlefield, both of us determined to help destroy the Dead before it was too late.

"THIS IS IT!" I exclaimed in joy as I saw more Dead being incinerated by Drogon's flames. Doing our best to avoid the crossbows which tried to hit us, we carefully flew just above the enemy's army and kept incinerating them. I quickly turned behind only to find Rhaegal busy at preventing the Dead from climbing on top of Winterfell's walls. "Where the hell are you Jon Snow?" I wondered anxiously "Why you left my child alone?". "KHALESI, LOOK OUT!" Sir Jorah's voice came from the battlefield. I immediately focused on the surrounding and I saw a catapult throwing us a stone. "Drogon, on the left!" I said and in response to my warning, my child flew away from the stone's trajectory. However our attack was destined to end because another rock was thrown against us and this time Drogon did not manage to evade it on time. The impact was immense and before I could act, I fell from Drogon's back. I heard my child scream and saw him desperately trying to catch me but he was slow. "MY QUEEN!" a voice came from the ground and before my body could hit the icy land, I felt someone protecting me. With some difficulty, I forced myself to stand up, only to find Grey-Worm attempting to stand up as well. "Are you all right?" I immediately asked him, concerned for his well being. "Don't worry your Grace" Gray Worm answered "The most important thing is that you are safe". "KHALESI!" Sir Jorah's voice came from behind. "Are you ok?" he asked me when he was next to me "I was worried when I saw you falling from your child. "Yes, I'm fine thanks to Gray Worm". Sir Jorah nodded and took an envelop from a bag he had on his armor. "This is for you Khalesi" he said as he handed me a sword made of Dragon-glass "I......asked Gendry Baratheon to make it for you". "Thank you" I simply said. Knowing we had no time to waste, I turned towards the Dead who were marching towards us, determined to fight until the end. "Time to end this battle, once for all" I said as the enemy charged us, weapons at the ready. Sir Jorah and Grey Worm both emitted a battle cry and launched themselves against the approaching soldiers. While we were fighting, I occasionally glanced at the open sky in order to check on Drogon: I often saw him busy at incinerating the enemy's army. "Khalesi don't lose your concentration" Sir Jorah's voice brought me back to reality and I saw more soldiers charging us. "NOW I HAVE ENOUGH OF ALL OF YOU!" I yelled in anger and charged the Dead, sword at the ready. The Dead desperately tried to cover themselves with their shields but it was useless since my attack had been too violent for them to contain it; as a result of this, I found many arms, heads and half bodies at my feet. "Stay at my side Khalesi" Sir Jorah said, his voice sounding determined "I will protect you till....". Two roars interrupted him and the battle raging around us. All of us who were fighting on the icy battlefield in front of Winterfell rose our stares only to find Rhaegal and Vyserion battling each other in the sky. "Now I have a bad feeling about this" I thought in horror when I saw both Jon Snow and the Night-King in person on the back of the two dragons. Drogon too realized what was happening and immediately flew towards Jon and Rhaegal to help them defeating the Night-King and Vyserion. "DROGON, NOOO!!!!" I heard Jon yelling "STAY WITH YOUR MOTHER, DON'T LEAVE HER ALONE!!!". "Drogon please don't leave them, they need you" I thought but my child returned to the battlefield after a brief moment of hesitation. I focused my attention back to the battle around me and I saw Sir Jorah busy at defending himself from a giant who was using what seemed to be a double-bladed axe. "Oh no, I won't let you injure my friends" I snarled and immediately charged the Dead giant; the soldier however must have heard me approaching because he hit me with the bottom of his weapon without turning to me. I fell backwards, my stomach hurting quite much; with some difficulty I rose on my feet and watched the giant and Sir Jorah increasing the speed at which they tried to hit each other with their weapons. "KHALESI, GET AWAY FROM HERE BEFORE YOU ARE HARMED!" Sir Jorah said, his gaze focusing on me for a moment and that moment of distraction revealed itself to be a grievous mistake. "JORAH LOOK OUT!!!" I screamed as I got close to them again but it was too late and the giant hit my advisor with what I saw was the pointed top of the axe. Sir Jorah blinked in surprise before falling on the ground after the Dead soldier freed his weapon from his body. Seeing his enemy was still alive, the Dead rose his weapon in order to finish the job but before he could give the fatal blow, I hit him on his shoulder with the blade of my sword. The Dead emitted a painful moan and turned to face me but before he could hit me as well, another roar came from the sky. I rose my gaze again and found Jon on Vyserion's back busy at stabbing the Night King with was seemed a dragon-glass dagger. When the Night-King vanished, Vyserion after having emitted a few more painful roars did the same. My gaze fell on the battlefield again and to my astonishment and joy, I saw the Dead soldiers vanishing as their leader had just done a few seconds before. A joyful yell came from the Northern soldiers, the Unsullied and the Dothraki when the last Dead soldier disappeared from the battlefield. "JORAH!" I yelled and immediately run towards him. I knelt at his side to check on him and what I saw horrified me: the tip of the Dead's weapon he had faced had penetrated deep in his body, very close to his heart. "Kkhalllessi......" Sir Jorah's voice sounded so weak "I'mmmm sorryyy...I coul.....". "No, no, youuu arrre gggoinggg to sssurrvvvive" I sobbed. "I'mmm afffraiiiddd ittt isss too lattteee ffffor meee......the Ddddeaddd has iiinffflicccted a ggrievousss woundddd to meeee. I ccann'ttt carryyyy onnn any lllonggger....". "NO, NO, YYYOUUU ARRREEE GGGOINGGG TO LLLIVVVEEE" I insisted, my tears obstructing my vision "I NNNEEEDDD YYOUUUU!". "No you don't...." Sir Jorah's voice was almost a whisper and I had to further kneel on him to hear him properly "Since I know you...you have turned into....a wise woman who perfectly knows...how to lead an army. You don't need my guide...any longer.". "You promised!" I insisted "You maddde an oatttth to Lord Snow! Did you ffforgggettt the ppprommmise you madddde to himmm along with Missandei????". "I promise....I knew from the beginning I couldn't keep....My duty has always been....to protect you. I couldn't promise to Jon Snow to...survive". "NO, NO!!!!" I yelled in pain, refusing to accept what was happening in that moment. "Khalesi....." Sir Jorah said as he slowly closed his eyes "Jon Snow....loves you but....he is afraid of something about you.....if you love him....you need to help him in dealing with this fear he has; it is the only thing...which prevents him.....from opening his...heart...to you". With these final words Sir Jorah Mormont emitted his last breath before surrendering himself to death, leaving me sobbing on his chest. "WHY, WHY, WHY???" I mentally screamed as I continued to weep "WHY IT IS ALWAYS ME HAS TO LOOSE THE ONES WHO ARE DEAR TO ME???? WHY I CAN'T BE A NORMAL GIRL WHO IS SURRENDED BY PEOPLE WHO LOVE HER????""".
