Seemingly Good

Lonely in their extravagant parties and crowds.

Suffocated in their comfortable mansion.

Growing oppression despite all those compliments.

A perfect facade, a dejected illusion.

Easy and enjoyable life, most people deems.

Achievements and prizes, looking at the front screen.

Oblivious to the other side, pain left unknown.

Watering irises, not allowed to be seen.

Strong and optimistic aura, the hidden masks.

Expectations keep flooding through the darkest nights.

Needs to be nice enough to these folks around me.

Forgetting my own happiness, plans, wants, and rights.

A seemingly good life that they're envious of.

Not knowing the sharp blades piercing through this tired heart.

Messed up mind due to their unrealistic dreams.

Things that I must not complain about from the start.
