and that was when she slapped me,
her hand gliding across my face.
and i watched as she breathed heavily, her hands curling into fists.
and she stepped back,
blowing out through her gap.
she seemed to sympathize with me,
her eyes understanding
and we both uttered out an "i'm sorry."
that was the end of us caring.
