i laughed, eyes glazing over with anger.
tears dampened the corners of my eyes,
"you know what, fine."

she looked confused,
"Chuck-"

"no! fuck you, Bonnie.
i actually liked you.
but you've been sending mixed signals,
you broke my relationship up and you made it seem like you care about me."

she shook her head,
her face shocked as she tried to fight back,
"i do care!"

i was done.
"no you don't!
i don't want to be your cheap hookup!"

ripping herself away from Carson, she stepped closer to me.
he stood there awkwardly.

and that was when she started yelling at me,
hands pushing me into a locker angrily,
it had gotten quiet.

"i asked you if you were okay with it!
i fucking asked you, Clyde!
you can't expect me to fall in love with you
when i'm not one for relationships!"

"why?"

that threw her for a loop.
"why what? i already explained it to you."

my eyes narrowed at her as i forced
the words out, disregarding how wrong it felt,
"why are you such a slut?"
