"Mr. Edgeworth! I'm here."
I arrived to Hazakura temple, and saw Edgeworth waiting by Dusky bridge. He seems like he was waiting for someone.
"Mrs. L/N! Great to see you here. I honestly started to feel bad for the investigators here..."
Edgeworth sighed in relief, but I got flustered all the sudden by how he was addressing me.
"Hmm? Are you feeling alright, Mrs. L/N? You look very red."
"U-Um, Mr. Edgeworth, I-I'm not married..."
I laughed awkwardly.
"I-Is that so? I thought you and prosecutor Godot...?"
"N-Nope! Not yet, I suppose..."
"Well, in that case, I apologise,
Ms. L/N."
Edgeworth corrected himself.
"No worries.
Oh, is this bridge fixed?"
I looked behind him.
"Indeed. The search party is on the other side already, so I recommend you'll join them soon."
Edgeworth got out of my way to the bridge.
"Wait, you are not coming with me?"
I asked him.
"No I'm not, Ms. L/N. I'm waiting for Mr. Wright to arrive."
"W-What? But he is in the hospital!"
"He was freed some time after you visited him, and he is going to arrive soon."
Edgeworth explained.
"Is that so..."
"Yap!
OUCH!"
Phoenix called out after I slapped him.
"S-Sorry! It was a reflex!"
I quickly apologised.
"I'll have to note myself not to sneak up from behind you. I suppose you should remember this as well, Mr. Wright. "
Edgeworth smirked at Phoenix.
"No shit, Edgeworth..."
He mumbled.
"Are you sure you are ready for this? You still look a little... green."
"My temperature is fine.
And yes, I am ready."
Phoenix said, but then coughed.
"Well then. If you think you are ready. This belongs to you."
Edgeworth handed Phoenix...
"Wait, Mr. Edgeworth, why do you have Wright's lawer budge?"
"He was covering for me at the trial yesterday. Thanks again, Miles."
"Of course. Although I did buy you another day, Frenziska is very determined to win, in the perfect Von Karma way.
You better go investigating."
Edgeworth warned him.
"There was a trial?!"
"I'll go investigating. Edgeworth, if you don't mind filling Y/N in..."
They nodded at each other as Phoenix went to cross Dusky bridge.

"Kitten, what are you doing here?
I don't recall asking you to come here."
I say, surprised.
"I heard Pearl and Maya went missing. There's no way I'm not helping, Di--- Godot."
Y/N corrected herself when someone passed by us.
I didn't want Y/N to get stuck in this mess... I don't want her to discover the bitter truth...
Suddenly, I saw Trite and wip girl going to the training hall.
Trite got freed from the hospital, eh? Well, it's my chance right now to take over this case.
