Dear Journal,
I'm back from vacation--yes, I went on vacation. I needed some...time to myself.
I didn't tell anyone I was going, since it was kind of spur of the moment; although it doesn't seem like anyone noticed I was gone, so I guess there's that...
But, I made a new friend while I was gone. She's really nice and interesting. We bonded over...a certain thing initially, and now we're really close.
She's kind of in between homes right now, though, so I'm gonna ask Meiko if she can stay with us for a while. Hopefully she says yes.
I've been told I need more friends, so there. I have a friend. Yay me...
