Dire Consequences Part 2 (Zayn and Louis)

LOUIS

Your eyes blink open and flutter in the harsh yellow light that all hospitals have. Adjusting to the scene in front of you, you make out the tall, lean figure of your husband's head near your hand. Realization taking place you look down to see your still round belly. Placing a hand over it, you wait until a little kick answers you. Relief flows through your body and you sigh in content. 

"Y/N, love, you're up!" You hear the dreaded voice. You narrow your eyes at your hand that he held in his. Disgust fills your heart. Because of him and his ego, you almost lost your precious gift from God. You snatch your hand out of his and say firmly, "Louis, get out."

"But, Y/N!" He protests and you glare into his blue eyes that no longer sent butterflies into your stomach, "Louis, you almost made me lose this baby! All over some stupid cake?! I asked you to do one thing and just because of one bad day at work, you yell at me? Just leave. I need time to think."

"Y/n, come on." He sighs but you scream, "Out! Now!"

He takes one last remorseful look at you and nods as he heads for the door, "I love you, Y/N. I am so sorry."

ZAYN

You awake to Zayn shaking you, "Y/N, we're gonna be late!"

"For what? Zayn, honey, it's 3 AM!" You moan as you cuddle back into the sheets.

"What? But didn't you have to go to your granny's?" He asks in confusion.

You point to where you left the note and he goes to read it.

"Shit, I hit you?" He curses and you stay quiet, running your fingers through his hair.

"I am so sorry, baby. I didn't mean to." He apologizes and glares at his own hands in anger. You nod your head and place your arms around his body, pulling him in for a hug. Everyone makes mistakes. You can't blame them and make them feel bad every time. They just need a hug to make them feel better for the time being.

"It's okay. Now, please let's sleep. We'll talk tomorrow." You say softly avoiding his apology kiss and laying back down. Just because you forgave him does not mean everything is okay.
