The growls started after that, a sudden push from Orion and i was surrounded by wolves. looking up, i saw the boy on his knees
"please young alpha i didn't know" Orions eyes held no mercy, but his face made him seem considerate
"All the other men did, i mean, she Has been in our territory before, she saved the lives of Your brothers pups, and her friends Where shown leniency, now, what could all that mean, it would take a genius to figure it out" my attention was brought from Orions sarcasm by hand being placed on my shoulder
"You seem to be very calm, do you remember the first time we met in my office, when we where, how should i put it, unacquainted, i didn't even recognize you, but how you have grown, and i am extremity sorry for not following customs, Your majesty" I went tense all over, then a sudden tingle started in my belly button
I shook my head and smiled, i was about to reply when i felt a wall collapse in my mind
-How long will she be seb, she should be back by now- i closed my eyes trying to regain control over my connections with sam, i never lost control like this, not out of nowhere. it was that exact moment the tingling that had spread all the way to the tips of my fingers burst into a burning pain that only grew by the second.
all that escaped my lips was small gasp and i felt my knees start to buckle, then an arm looped around my waist, my gaze slid to the right and rested on the beta.
"alpha, we need to see a witch now" next thing i knew i was being held in someones arm while Orion ran ahead.
The boarder came into view with a very worried Jonathan on the other side, whose eyes widened and his body lolled slightly before he started yelling
"REE REE you need to open the boarder, they are trying to help come on baby, your whole eyes are black, not just the irises" i pushed a single thought to him that had him Wincing with the pain i felt
"SAMUEL JAMES MELCAST GET YOUR LITTLE FISH ASS OUT HERE RIGHT NOW AND DROP THIS BOARDER OR IN THE NAME OF LUCIFER I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW LEVEL OF HELL KIDDO"
next thing i knew the boarder was gone and we where running inside where larissa started going into panic mode, herbs flew everywhere and so did her powers, suddenly i was floating, yay, larissa was blinking at me and holding her hand in the air
"my utmost apologies darling, but, you are going to have to phase, i can only treat the flesh would, only posidon or the warlock can remove the mark but it would kill you before the warlock got here" she shuffled a bit before yelling "THE SUPERNATURALS ARE SEPARATED BY THEIR GODS FOR A REASON, TO PUT A TRACKING MARK ON A MERMAID IS THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF TORTURE, GOD IF I FIND THEM" larissas skin went a slight shade of green and blue tinted the edges of her eyes before sam walked up and hugged her her appearance changed to normal and she placed me beside the pool in the basement, i smelled the salt hit the water and shuddered
"wait, mermaids, they, they died years ago, after the Lucifer split the sea" i had my face and turned to the pool, Orion, was crying, the tears silently slipped down his face as the quivering words left his mouth
"No, they didnt, they stayed in the sea so they couldn't be found by lucifer, so many of them where defiled, left half out of water to die, force fed vampire blood, it was the most horrible time in our history" Jonathan shuddered as he remembered what his old coven was involved in
"The only reason we left the sea was because mama's cousin said we couldnt live there while she was in rule" Orions attention was brought to Sam but he was cut short
"you need to get in the water dear, i need to see the damage" i looked at larissa as i rolled into the water onto my back, feeling the cold water submerge my legs "all of you turn around" they looked confused but did as they where told i felt the webbing loop and pop my legs together and then my toes, my clothes except my bra (one phase proof thing i had left) merged with the water, i looked down my legs to see the midnight purple scales sparkle on my 6.8 ft tail (2 meters) and felt tears pool in my eyes as a harsh ink black spread over them and covered them as if they where blotting out the sun.
"Lariss, What happened to Lillare" Jonathan Looked sick as Sebastian walked up to him and gently grabbed his hand pulling them both towards me,
"even in the face of death, a princesses looks never fade" i smilled at Sebastin and held my hand out to jonathan who gently grabbed it and sobbed, i felt a tear escape my eye and and he looked up
"dont cry ree ree, its okay" i smiled at jonathans fatherly instinct, he would make a great dad,
they both got up and left, Sebastian grabbed the back of Orions neck and pulled their foreheads together,
"Take care of my baby, or i will rip out your throat with my teath and feed it to you" with that him and Jonathan left with the alpha and beta. Sam ran over to me and collapsed into my arms phasing with his bright tail on show
"dont be sick Ree, i need you, you can get better you just need to go for a swim" i felt his tears burn the markings that etched themselves into my skin as they turned into silver lines
"Oh bubba, dont waist your tears, hide them, for when they are really needed" he looked at me, his eyes swimming with blue, and the tears stopped
"but you need them more then i do" i shook my head and he whipped his eyes and turned his legs back "im not a baby anymore you know, but, that dosent mean i dont need you as my mumma" i held back tears as he walked over and kicked Orions shin, "take care of her, or imma kick you again and feed you to the sharks" the tears on his little face didnt help him be scary, but i heard him run up the stairs sobbing and calling to jonathan
"you need to watch her wile i go collect herbs, she needs to call on Poseidon, make sure she does, if she dosent" Orion cut larissa off witha sharp nod before she ran up the stairs, Orion collapsed next to me as a small sob escaped him.
"i love you" with that, the tears streamed down his face as he grabbed my hand and sobbed beside me.
"Don't lock him out of his body, because I couldn't bear knowing not all of you wanted me, I'm sorry, because your love alone isn't enough" i felt my eyes roll back as i felt something pull me away from consciousness.
