I was never the type of girl that was in the spotlight for the world to see. I didn't need the attention that all the other girls got at school from all the boys.
I was that hippie girl. I was just me.
And I liked it that way.
I believed in real love, something that causes butterflies in your stomach. Something that drives you crazy but is worth the ride, something that is like those romantic books but not like the movies.
I wanted the real thing. I wanted to be in love. I wanted it so badly.
But I didn't show it.
