Next Day

Adrian POV

I woke up to my phone ringing, I was so tired from last night that I didn't even want to answer it but I just clicked on the green button without seeing the caller id.

"Is this Adrian?" I heard a deep voice say through the phone.

Adrian- "yeah, who this is?" I said while sitting up in my bed.

"This the nigga who gone take your girl" he said

Adrian- "yo get off my phone with that Aight" I said while shaking my head.

"You really don't know know who this is huh?" He said in his deep voice

Adrian- "Hell Nah". I said getting irritated

"This Xavier, I've been watching yo girl a lot lately, you've been loyal to her which makes me want her because you've never gave loyalty to anybody not even me" he said

Adrian- "What the f*ck, why you calling me out the blew like this, why the hell you've been watching my girl for? I said getting heated

Xavier was Adrian old friend, they use to both kick it together before his mom died, Adrian decided to got to a party with him one night while riding in Xavier car a police pulled them over, the police searched the car and found marijuana in the trunk, Xavier whispered to Adrian that he should take the blame for him because he didn't want to go to jail. Adrian didn't know what to do he was scared asf, he didn't even smoke marijuana so it definitely wasn't his. The police officer asked who it was and Adrian told off on Xavier.

Xavier- "I'm make you feel the pain I felt the day I got incarcerated"

Adrian- "it wasn't my fault and how you plan on making me feel?"

Xavier- "I plan on making you feel betrayed!" He screamed through the phone.

Xavier also had a mental problem which caused him to lean onto marijuana as his help instead of getting real help. Adrian was his only friend because everybody at his school was scared of him.

Adrian- "yo chill, that sh*t happened years ago". I said

Xavier- " I seen how In love you looked on prom, I'm take that love away from you. He said in a deep tone.

Adrian- "what?, you go to my school now?" I said with my eyebrows furrowed.

Xavier-"No nigga, I been dropped out of school, I followed y'all to prom" he said

Adrian-"if you every come around me or My girl I will beat yo a*s" I said while hanging up.

What was going on? I said to myself . I couldn't believe I woke up to this. If he out for revenge on me then he better be ready for what I got for him.

Caleb- "That's tough, what you plan on doing?"

Adrian-"I'm get me a gun" I said confidently

Caleb- "Bro that's not the route to go" he said looking at me crazy.

Adrian-"I have to protect Destiny, I can't let anything happened to her. I said

Caleb-"Don't make yourself go to jail for life because of him, he's probably just talking anyway." He said

Adrian- "I'm call Destiny to see if he spoke to her or something". I said while pulling my phone out.

Destiny- "Hey" she said in a soft voice

Adrian- "Have you spoke to any nigga lately?" I said stern

Destiny- "uhh....."

Adrian- "Come on just tell me ma" I said calmly

Destiny-"Yea, some tall guy with brown skin and golds in his mouth harassed me when I was in the car before 2 weeks before prom" she said nervously

Adrian-"Stay at home until I come with you, that nigga Xavier is trying to hurt you"

Destiny- "what? Why?" She asked scared

Adrian- "He got problems plus he got some beef with me from years back" I said

Destiny- "umm he also said that he was going to have me.....at prom" she said nervously

Adrian- "you should of told me this so I could of confronted his a*s. I said

Destiny- "baby I'm sorry, I just didn't want to ruin our prom. She said

Adrian- "it's ok don't worry, I will protect you ma"
