Macy POV
We went back inside to see what cell I can sleep in. "You'll have to share with Carl." Rick said leading me to my new cell. "Thank you" I said and he nodded. "So, I guess we're roommates now." Someone said behind me. Carl. "Yep" I said laughing a little. "What bunk do I get? Top or bottom?" I asked him. "Bottom. If that's okay?" He said. " Yea, it's fine. Plus I don't like too bunks 'cause every time I sleep on one I end up on the floor the next day." I said and we both start laughing.

~one month later~

I've been here for one month now and I love it. Carl and I have become very close. I was outside waiting for Glenn, Maggie, Michone, and Tyreese to go on a run. But Carl doesn't know and he's been very protective lately. "Where are you going?" I heard a voice say behind me. And you guest right. Carl. "Um..going on a run. Why?" I said knowing what he's gonna say. "You're not going." He said grabbing me by the wrist and leading me to the prison. "Carl, you're not the boss of me!" I said kinda loud drawing all attention to us. "Macy, you're not going!!" He said really loud. i ran away to my cell crying. 'He never yells at me' I thought to myself. I heard someone come into the cell and when I looked up I saw Glenn. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked sitting next to me. "No, not really. He never yells at me" I said crying a little more. Glenn was always a brother figure to me. "I know, he's just trying to protect you" he said. "But I don't like it. Every time I wanna go on a run he says no. I'm tired of being here, you know, not getting out much. I just wanna get out a little more." I said and he nodded. "I think you should talk to him" he said. "I can't, I'm not ready. But thanks." I said smiling. He smiled back and left.

After two hours of sitting in my cell, I finally got up to go to the bathroom. But I bumped into somebody. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looki-" I stopped when I looked up to see Carl. I just walked away. But he didn't bother catching up to me. 'Strange' I thought. Usually he would stop me. 'Oh well' I thought. I went to the bathroom. And when I got to my cell I stopped at the doorway when I saw Carl sitting on my bed. He looked up and saw me but I just walked away, but this time he stopped me. "Macy, can we talk?" He asked putting his arm on my shoulder but I shrugged it off. "Macy please" he said. This time I stopped and turned around. "What do you want?" I said in a non-rude way. "I just wanted to say sorry. Glenn told me that you don't like being cooped up in the prison so much. I didn't know I just wanted to protect you. You're my best friend. I don't like to hurt you." He said looking deep into my eyes. "I'm sorry" he finally said. A tear fell out of my eye and he wiped it away. I ran up to him and hugged him, burying my head in his chest. He rubbed my back and told me that it's okay. "I...forgive...you" I said in between sobs. He lead me to my cell and set me down on the bed laying next to me. I buried my head in his chest and he put his hand around my waist, pullinge closer. "Macy, can I ask you something?" He asked looking down at me. "Yes" I said. "Um..well..will you be my gir-" he tried to spit out but I cut him off. "Yes" I said smiling. He smiled too and leaned down and crashed his lips onto mine. I I felt sparks. I never wanted this moment to end but we were interrupted by the group clapping and cheering. We both laughed and they left smiling. "i know it's early, but I love you Macy Dixon" he said to me. "I love you too Carl Grimes
