I collapsed onto the floor and took his face into my hands.

"Karl what are you doing here?"

He didn't answer.

I hugged him, on the verge of tears.

"Karl, what's wrong, please tell me"

I started crying, I couldn't hold it in seeing him cry.

"y/n, don't cry"
"Karl, I'm not"
"I know you are"

He took my face into his hands and looked me in the eyes.

"y/n, please stop crying"
"I won't, until you stop"
"Please"

I wiped my tears off and looked into his eyes.

"Happy?"

He hugged me really tightly, until the point I couldn't breathe.

"I'm sorry, Karl"
"Why?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't open the door, I'm sorry I said those words to you"
"y/n, I know you didn't mean to"
"I'm so sorry Karl"
"y/n, don't be"
"But it's my fault! It's my fault that you are crying"
"It's not, it's never your fault"
"But it is"
"It's not, please, it was my fault for overthinking too much"

We stayed and cried there for about some time when Jimmy walked in.

"y/n?"
"Jimmy?"
"What are you guys doing here?"
"Oh nothing"
"Why are you guys crying?"
"It's nothing"

Jimmy came up and hugged us. Then he let us go home because he didn't want us crying in his studio for obvious reasons.

I drove him home because he was still shaking for some reason.

"Karl are you okay?"
"Yeah"
"You're shaking"
"Oh I just naturally shake"
"Karl, you can talk to me you know?"
"I'll talk to you when we get home"
