Chapter 33

(8:00 pm that night)

"You ready?" Mom asks and I shrug

"I don't know, im really nervous"

"don't be, it will go great" she says and I smile "thank you".

We get in her white Camry and arrive at Kaitlyns 1 story White House.

"Wow I expected bigger for someone with such a big mouth" I say and mom laughs.

We get out of the car, walk up the concrete drive way and knock on her door.

A women in her mid 30s answers the door

"hi, are you mrs. Harris?" Mom asks and the lady nods

"very nice to meet you cheryl" she says and mom smiles

"is you're daughter Kaitlyn home?" Her mom looks at us confused and nods.

"Yeah.. I'll go fetch her" she says and soon Kaitlyn appears at the door and her eyes get wide when she sees mom.

"Hello, I wanted to know if I could talk to you outside?" She says and Kaitlyns mom pushes her daughter outside and closed the door.

"Erm.. Hi cheryl" she says and mom crosses her arms

"dont give me none of that 'hi cheryl' crap. You and me both know why im here" kaitlyns face drops

"what are you... Talking about" mom rolls her eyes

"oh playing the stupid game I see.. Maybe this will refresh you're memory" mom says and slams the note into kaitlyns palm

"you gave this to me daughter, You really have some nerve saying that. How about you say it to my face right here right now"

mom says and Kaitlyns face falls "you're mom.. Shes erm.. Ugh I cant do it" she says sadly handing mom back the note.

"If you cant say it to me face then you better not be saying it to my fucking daughter. You hear me?! Mess with my daughter one more time and I'll kill you with me own bare hands" mom says shaking her fist in kaitlyns face

"do you understand" mom screams and Kaitlyn nods nervously

"go back inside, bri lets go" she says and pulls me protectively into her side.

We get back in the car and I hug her tightly taking her by surprise "thank you so much, you have no idea how grateful I am" I say and she kisses my forehead

"anything for you, me little angel. Oh and let me know if she bothers you tommorrow, I'll go to that classroom and handle her meself" she says and I smile

"I think she understands now"

We soon get home and I sit on the couch. "Alright since its friday night what movie do you wanna watch?" I say and she shrugs

"I don't know, you pick"

"wanna watch endless love?"

"Sure, never seen it but sounds good"

"it is, its one of my all time favorite movies".

Mom moves closer to me and lays me on top of her, I rap my arms around her waist and she clicks order.

"That was such a good movie" mom says through her tears

"you're so emotional" I laugh and she sticks her tongue out at me

"yeah I know that already, thank you captain obvious" I lightly smack her arm and she wacks me in the face with a pillow.

I grab on as well "oh your on" I hit her until she falls over and im on top.
