Chapter 9

Em's P.O.V.

I ran out not because he said it to harshly, because he was keeping something from me, I don't like secrets, unless they shouldn't be told. I could tell it was bothering him, right now i'm in the lounge with Liz.

"Em?" Liz says

"Yea?"

"Is that your phone ringing?"

I listen for a second then get up and get it, it was Mitch.

"Mitch, I wanted to-"

"It's Jerome." He seems....off.

"Oh hey Jerome, Why are you using Mitch's phone?"

"something happened"

"Ok...." I say basically telling him to continue.

"Come to the hospital" my heart dropped "and I'm stealing your phone number from Mitch's phone, I will send you the directions in a minute."

"Ok, thanks Jerome"

"No problem, bye" Then I hang up.

I turn to Liz and start crying, Liz puts my head on her shoulder, "It's all my fault!" I say sobbing.

"And I'm getting your shirt all wet!" I sob

"It's ok, why are you crying? What did Jerome say?" Oh yeah, I forgot to tell her, I start to calm down.

"Mitch is in the hospital," Just then my phone buzzes "and those are the directions to the hospital."

"Ok then, Em you can do this, let's go."

We leave the hotel and get into our rental car, i feel like I'm being watched, I just shrug it off, then drive to the hospital.
