With CJ studying in London we had grown to be great friends he was still adamant in trying to get me to go on a date with him and it's not that I don't want to but I was still in love with Charlie and it felt wrong dating someone when my heart wasn't fully in it
"How about this one date and if it doesn't go well I will stop asking" CJ proposed as we made it outside the university he went to
"Alright one date and then we'll see" I smiled
"Great I'll pick you up at 7 then" He beamed kissing my cheek running inside as the bell rang I had an order meeting to get to so I turned down the nearest alley and made sure no one would see me teleport to 12 Gimmauld place accidentally spooking Tonks in the doorway making her knock over the umbrella stand again causing the portrait of Mrs. Black to start screaming again
"Sorry" We yelled in unison running over to shut the curtain to stop her screaming
"You have got to move that horrible umbrella stand it's bound to fall over all the time" Tonks said as we entered the kitchen
"We know" Sirius said pitching the bridge of his nose
"Hello sweetheart" Dad greeted me as he entered the kitchen
"How long until the meeting starts?" I asked hoping I could make it upstairs to talk to Hermione and Ginny about what dress I should wear for my date
"5 minutes" He answered as he sat down next to Sirius

"What's with the dresses?" Ginny asked as I appeared in her room
"I have a date tonight and I need help on what to wear" I said giving the two girls a quick hug
"I think you should choose this one and with some red lipstick" Hermione said handing me a white dress

"This is the one" I smiled as I heard the last few people arrive downstairs
"Good luck" Ginny said as I ran downstairs again to join the meeting unfortunately the only free seat was next to Charlie
"Why are you so dressed up?" Bill asked from the other side of me as I sat down
"I have a date tonight" I smiled at him Charlie started coughing on the other hand causing Bill to snicker for a moment before his mother scolded him and the meeting began

"I had fun tonight" I said as CJ and I stopped at my door after our date
"Me too"
"I should go in I leave for my dads house in the morning" I said giving him a small smile as I got my key out of my bag
"We'll talk when you get back" He smiled giving me a quick hug as I went back in
"See you" I waved closing the door putting my keys and bag on the table next to the door before going to the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea
"You should know better then to break in here Charles" I said putting a tea cup down on the coffee table startling Charlie from his slumber on my couch
"And you should know better than dating a muggle" He said not bothering with formalities
"Excuse me" I asked putting down my tea cup I have never been as angry with anyone as I am with Charlie right now
"A werewolf dating a muggle how are you going to explain that to him?" He shrugged like it was common knowledge
"Who do you think you are? You have barely spoken a word to me in a year and now you have the audacity to come here and tell me who I can and cannot date" I raged running a hand threw my hair starting to pace
"You're the who lied for 20 fucking years" He spat angrily
"I never lied to you I didn't tell you because you knowing would make me a target I had to use my powers at the world cup I don't know if you've noticed but I don't have a wand with me everywhere i go Merlin I barely use it anymore"
"So now you think I cant handle myself?"
"I know you can handle yourself"
"Then why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I can't live with myself if you got hurt or killed because of me. Because I couldn't bear to loose you too not that it mattered because your stubborn arse refuses to see it from my side" I screamed punching the mirror making it shatter in to a million pieces and causing my hand to bleed
"Stop stop stop calm down before you hurt yourself anymore" Charlie rushed over to me his demeanour completely different as he looked at my hand that while covered in blood didn't have a flaw
"You can't tell anyone about your powers okay baby? Not before you absolutely have to. I love you Alexa" And with that she closed the door to the small crawl space and ran to hold off Voldemort
"What was that?" Charlie asked looking me in the eyes for the first time in a long time
"My last memory of my mother" I whispered as he let my hand fall from his grasp and I dried the tears that had escaped while I showed him the memory
"I'm sorry I was angry that you ran after instead of staying to talk" He said while I was washing the blood of my hand
"I heard you talking to Bill I was afraid I would lose control so for the best of everyone I had to clear my head" I threw the tea towel on the table as I walked back to the living room
"I more angry at myself to be honest" He admitted rubbing his face making me look at him in confusion
"Why?"
"You really don't know you can read thoughts"
"Not yours"
