the silence was heavy in the clearing in the woods, eret, niki and fundy sat in silence chewing on some bread, neither shclatt or tommy had returned after their argument, they'd guessed where shclatt had gone to, but what he was going to do was a mystery to all of them, tommy on the other hand they didn't know "do you think he'll be back soon" fundy said quietly, his voice hoarse from the silence
"i hope so" eret and niki said in unison sharing a quick glance at each other.
tommy moved swiftly through the forrest his fingers brushing against the trees he knew so well, he wasn't lost and that kept him from panicking, he began to question himself do i really want revenge? he thought yes they treated you wrong but you loved them, he stopped his breath catching in his through you loved them
he sank to the floor beside a tree wrapping his arms around himself in attempts to slow his breathing, he hadn't realised tears flowing down his cheeks, he wiped them furiously looking out at the stars
tommy made up his mind about 5 hours later, he guessed it was about 5am and the rest would have been waking up soon, he let out a deep breath, he wouldn't be returning today, today he'd be taking a visit to the dream team
to say everyone was nervous was a understatement, shclatt had returned after everyone woke up, silent greeting shared between them all, the group sat quietly in a circle round the fire, a quiet sob came from niki, everyone's heads bolted up looking at her concerned
"why'd you have to say that to him- you don't understand shclatt, tommy still loves them deep down, he may not know it but i know i couldn't up right kill them..." she spluttered staring at the horned man her voice shaking as she spoke
"they've wronged us al-" shclatt began but he was cut off by fundy "but you didn't share any of this with us" silence so fundy continued "well what the hell were we? tell me we weren't just friends?! we were family alright! this doesn't make much sense i thought you'd tell us if you planned anything"
shclatt sat quiet, he felt like bursting into tears but he contained himself, eret stood up and looked at shclatt "we've been running in circles now look what you've done schlatt. what are you going to pick, us or revenge"
the clearing in the woods stilled shclatt lifted his head to look at eret "i'm sorry" and with a swift motion schlatt left his ex companions stunned as he disappeared into the woods
tears fell from the remaining three "we have each other" fundy muttered looking at the two"
"i don't know about you" eret began "but i need tommy back" he said his tone changing to a passionate determined one
