In the bustling markets of Rabat
I was making my way through the stalls
As I savoured the smells of Saffron and Cumin
They approached me, these men of Al-Mumin
My reputation preceded my arrival, it seemed
For they spoke to me as an old friend
We call on you hereby, to offer your service
To the great Caliph of Almohad
The most honourable task will be laid in your hands
You shall journey and conquer new lands
And when you return
A victorious man
The Caliph will award you
An abundance of land
You shall be provided
A fleet of great ships
And soldiers
To your heart's content
As you cross the Gibraltar
The Spaniards will scorn
Mocking this feeble attempt
But their tongues will be silenced
When we show our true force
And then soon, a new world will be born
