My feet tap impatiently on the floor,
Waiting to dance Raas with You.

My long arms stay limp on either side,
Patient for Your soul-warming embrace,

My heart which has been broken,
Biding it's time for You to heal it over.

Every atom and sub atomic particle,
Within me is anticipating Your return.

When will You come, Raasvihari?
It's been more than eighteen long years.

Yes, it is true You came into my life,
From the very moment I was born,

And have always been a part of me and my life,
But when will You come, NaraHari, physically?

So that, I can pull your ear and play that Spin-whirl
Game holding onto your hands till my head goes dizzy.

Again, building castles in the air, am I, now?
But tell me, what else can I do till You come

Other than dream about being with You,
Playing and teasing You, or loving You.

Perhaps, You will come some day, Milord.
Maybe tomorrow, or next week or next year.

Maybe a decade later, when I am old enough
Or when I celebrate my 100th birthday.

But will You ever come, Sri Hari?
Or leave me the way You left Vrindavan?

Though I know the sad truth, 
I can never stop myself from asking You.

I know this is Kali Yug, and You'll appear only once,
Towards the very end of this Yuga, I do not know when,

When I read the estimates, my head goes dizzy,
Some say 4,26,985 years later approximately.

I can't wait that long , Kanha, I can not.
Perhaps you can let me take those many births

Till the end of this yuga, till I meet You in person.
And I promise You, my dear, that I'll write atleast

A hundred poems every year in every birth,
