          I let out a sigh and put both hands up as a sign of surrender. "Fine. But if my dad does something to you, you have no reason to get back at me."
          
          "What could be the worst thing? It's not like he's going to point a gun at me. I won't go running scared just because I'm meeting the dad of my girl." He shrugs and my mind gets stuck on the words MY GIRL. "Or does he have a gun? Can he really threaten me?"
          
          I shake my head, mind still contemplating on the MY GIRL part. He smiles. "See, there's nothing to be worried about, Lee. I can do this. It’s time I put my charm to good use.”
          
          When Stefan pulls up in front of my house, my heart feels like it wants to get out of my chest. Dad’s car is already in the driveway. There’s no turning back now.
          
          “Let’s go?” Stefan helps me out of his car. My face might have given away the fact that I am dying out of nervousness, because he kisses my knuckles and tells me not to worry.
          
          But what he did has just increased my tension even more.
          
          “Relax, Lee." He rubs his hands together until they’re warm and cups my face with them. “Now breathe.”
          
          After a minute of heavy breathing, praying and swearing, we go inside. We are greeted by my brother who is overly excited to see Stefan again.
          
          “Big bro, you’re here!” He comes running down the hall with a grin on his face. “Ma, Kuya Stefan is here!” After going to the kitchen, he runs to the back porch. “Pa, Ate’s boyfriend is here.”
          
          I blush when Stefan brushes a strand of hair off my face and says, “Your brother likes me. If I get your parents’ approval tonight, should we get married tomorrow?”
