Hi! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I promise I wasn't lying when I said I was working on stuff. I've been working on the rewrite of C&N quite a bit but I'm struggling to find a solid direction in the plot that I like. 
          	
          	
          	Part of this has to do with the fact I came up with the story almost two years ago and it was my first actual attempt at a book. My writing style has changed a lot, as well as my view of what a good plot looks like. So at this point, it's hard to publish a rewrite of something I'm not particularly proud of or excited to continue. I hope that makes sense.
          	
          	But I'm willing to push past these insecurities and come with an ending for Jack and Spencer if that's what y'all really want. It might not be the best piece of work but it would give readers some peace of mind (because I understand how frustrating it is to not know what's happening in a story with characters you care about).
          	
          	Or I could focus on coming up with a new story.

@wonderingwhyy I love coffee and nerves, I can't lie, but it makes sense as we are the harshest judge of our own works. I wish you well. As for the input, I say do what feels right, but I have an idea for a new story, a bxb, age gap, horror love story in the p.o.v of the innocent, who doesn't know that he just so happens to be dating a serial killer. I can't lie a little embarrassed to pitch this idea.

For anyone wondering what has happened to the author:
          
           They made a comment in 2020 about C&N a few comments down. Just scroll and you'll find it. I imagine it must be pressuring to be getting a lot of comments on it so I hope you see this before asking the author if they are still on the platform/giving up the project.

Hey Leah :) I just found your acc and I really like the new version of C&N so far. It just surprised me that the last time it was update was in August 2019. 
          Are you currently taking a break? Is that story being continued (if that's not the case that's fine too I just would like to know)?  And is everything else alright? :)
