Hi! Writing an accent to me is more about using specific words and phrases!! I personally have a number of British friends / consume British media to familiarise myself with their speaking habits and whatnot. I would advise against trying to make words itself ‘look’ British (such as shortenin’ words or changing their spelling to fit the pronunciation) and focus more on the individual words that are typically used in British English speech!❤️
