Gen Tamaki

I work in the field of medical care and welfare as my daily job. Drawing upon my everyday experiences and realizations, I express my chewed-up mental landscapes through lyrics, songs, and novels by way of faith, prayer, qigong, and meditation. In terms of musical genre, I base myself on Christian music and render it acoustic with an alternative flair. I hold deep respect for Sting in my lyric and song writing, and for Cho Yong-pil in my singing. I also play the Indian flute. For my computer needs, I use a MacBook Pro and an iMac. As for DTM software, I currently use Logic Pro, MainStage, and GarageBand.
As a writer, I have published novels, treatises on national issues and the state of the world, and essays.
