I earned a masters degree in philosophy before I had children. I replaced that study with writing poetry. I was fortunate to belong to several poetry groups and to participate in a few open mikes. I have been writing off and on for about 25 years. Most of my inspiration comes from walking in the woods or on city streets. I also let the beat from popular music structure some projects. I scribble then polish as much as I can to portray the word images that come to me.
