here is a preview of a new bucky barnes story i am working on. it involves a djinn (my interpretation of one) working with bucky and using the multiverse to erase the fact he ever became the winter soldier.
          
          Bucky stands up, shaking his head. “You know, I don’t know who you are, but you-” he points at the woman, “are a terrible kidnapper.”
          
          She simply gazes at him, still smirking. Bucky gets an uneasy feeling that she knows something he doesn’t, but instead of leaning into that, he looks away and heads for the exit. 
          
          He makes it to the front door without issue, but stops before opening it. This has to be a trap, right? No one kidnaps anyone just to ask them about their desires and then release them.
          
          Despite his doubts, he decides to try and make a break for it. It’s not like he couldn’t fight her off if need be - the woman is just about knee-high to a grasshopper in size.
          
          With a deep exhale, he throws open the front door and begins to take a step outside - 
          
          There is no ground.
          
          The ground is gone. There is no grass, no road, no… nothing. It is simply an abyss of white, almost as if they are on a plane thousands of feet above the Earth. But the problem is, they most certainly are not on a plan - they are in a house.
          
          Bucky turns back to look at the woman, wearing an expression of utmost shock and confusion.
          
          She smiles. “How’s that for a terrible kidnapper?”
