nightmares plagued him left him in cold sweats and hard breaths that made him feel like he was dying or falling once again . bright blue eyes shot open staring at the ceiling in a poor attempt to capture his breath , slowly he sat up stretching his back which still had phantom pains running up and down where jagged scars sit . slender fingers reach and rub at his eyes lightly , free hand pulling covers off of a well defined muscular body wearing only a thin pair of boxers . a silk dark red robe went around his almost partial naked body , tied neatly around his waist liking the feeling of it against his skin . 
          his hair began to stand on end , the feeling of eyes on him prominent . lucifer turned around long trestles of blonde moving in from for his face as eyes scanned around . 
          “ who is there ? i suggest showing yourself . ” his voice was like smooth honey mixed with fresh mint green tea . made to be heard and listened to .
          fingers held at a nimble sword that was far from broken , old holiness gone back to it's home in the sky ; still it had a good use anyways . muscle memory came to good use sword high in the air lightly shining in the pale moonlight between black out curtains .
