Hey everyone! I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings, so that is what I write and read. When I was ten, I used to check my ears for points daily. (Something I would never do now... at all... why are you looking at me like that?)

I try to promote some of the unrecognized characters in the series, particularly Elrond. I've got a reading list dedicated to him, so if you are a LoTR fan, check out some original stories that aren't about Legolas or Thranduil. Preferably my own, but you know, whatever floats your boat.
Also, if you know of an Elrond fanfic (or have written one) tell me so I can add it!

About my username: When I was younger, my favorite book was called Shadow Spinner. The main character's aunt used to accuse her of "spinning shadows", or telling stories, instead of living in the real world. A bit pretentious, perhaps, but I like the sound of it.
I'd be more than pleased to read what you've got. I may have to decline (I do, surprisingly, have a life), and I may not read it all the way through, but I will make every effort to give some good advice and comments.
