Scott Pomeroy advises public and soon-to-be-public companies on strategy, capital structure, market positioning, and how to engage investment bankers and investors productively. Behind that work sit four decades as a public-company chief executive, capital-markets strategist, and transaction adviser, helping boards and management teams raise capital, close complex transactions, and rebuild enterprise value across aerospace and drones, healthcare, media, consumer products, and financial services. He is based in Littleton, Colorado, and until August 2026 held the titles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at XTI Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq: XTIA), having joined the company as a capital-raising adviser and later as its Interim Chief Financial Officer. The sequence is familiar in his career: advise first, lead after.
The starting point was accounting. Scott Pomeroy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with honors, from the University of New Mexico in 1984, and earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1985. At KPMG Peat Marwick, he moved from auditor to Senior Manager between 1984 and 1992. That grounding in controls is one reason boards have handed him, again and again, companies whose numbers, capital structure, and operating plan all needed repair.
He took on operating responsibility at Lewis Foods Group, a $250 million food-processing group, where he served as President and Chief Financial Officer from 1993 to 2000. He negotiated acquisitions, restructured the sales, marketing, and plant operations, and put a long-term manufacturing agreement with The Pillsbury Company in place. He took company-wide operating leadership in 1998 and oversaw the sale to Diageo in 1999.
