I took one for the team and wrote a Miles Fairchild Fanfic

With absolutely no intention to do anything with this I wrote part of a self insert fic (I don’t like those anymore) with IT and so here’s a snippet of my character Riley and Eddie being smol children. I was lonely cuz quarantine so that’s why this exists:
          
          “What should I do about my mom?” Eddie asked once they were only a few blocks away from his house. 
          “What do you mean?” Riley replied.
          “She’s been awful. She… she keeps going on about it and how she’ll send me to a camp and how awful it is and… she’s treating me like I’m sick. More than normal and-”
          “I have an idea.” Riley cut him off.
          “What?” Eddie asked hesitantly because he could practically see the wheels turning in her head.
          “What if… and it’s a crazy idea… what if I…”
          “What?!”
          “What if, when we get to your house, I kiss you.”
          “WHAT?!” Eddie’s voice cracked and went up several octaves.
          “Hear me out.” Riley took her left hand off the handle bars and began frantically gesturing in an attempt to get Eddie to continue listening. “ I walk with you to your front door and you open the door like you’re about to go in, but then I kiss you goodnight. Your mom will see the whole thing!”
          “Oh my god…”
          “No, think about it. She’ll think you like me and she’ll forget about the gay stuff.”
          “...that… might work. But have you ever actually kissed someone?”
          “Well… no, but have you?”
          “No.”
          Riley was smiling and holding back a laugh.
          “You know what, it’s fine. I’m not practicing. This is a one time thing. I’m kissing you once.”
          “Same here.”
          “I’m glad we agree.”

Hi guys, sorry I disappeared for 2 years. I’m still a ghost, I’m not back really.... but like, I wanted to say tysm for all your comments on my stories!
