I've been on here for so long that it's genuinely jarring to see pjo fan accounts going from the same few fanarts of percy from the same like 10 pjo artists to various edited versions of walker's pictures but with the same type of pjo related usernames lmao it's so cute

not netflix cancelling the kane chronicles
          do they even realise the point of their existence if they're just gonna scrap all the good shows lmao.
          like the only thing that's gonna survive on there by the end of it is stranger things and maybe bridgerton and heartstopper for "diversity". they couldn't care less about anything else and it's genuinely embarassing

forgot to talk about the pjo finale but man I'm gonna be very honest, this episode might just be one of the best in the show. right up there with episode 5.
          
          can i start by saying that this entire ep reminded me of the musical? "look, I know you didn't want to be a half blood" OKAY CHARLIE THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK FIVE SECONDS INTO THE EPISODE
          
          the betrayal I think was one of the most well choreographed scenes in the show and tbh I liked it better than the scorpion. the ares fight was (almost) exactly how I remembered from the books although shorter because of course. i really loved the luke flashbacks in the middle.
          
          THE NECKLACE SCENE HOLY SHIT walker and leah know how to act with their eyes and every single episode they nail the looks each time. walker in this one especially. percy's eyes did not leave annabeth for even 0.005 seconds he held that gaze without blinking. get him a damn award (which reminds me, go vote for leah for her performance as annabeth for the naacp awards RIGHT NOW) 
          
          I have SO many thoughts about this episode an announcement isn't enough. what all stuff did you guys like?

          "why are you trying so hard to get rid of me? I would never do that to you" my heart shattered into a billion pieces and I'm crawling my way to sally jackson to tell her despite all this that she's trying her best and then hug percy and protect him from all the horrors awaiting him.
          
          "I seldom cahoot :(" hades was so awkward and silly lmao. he really is nico's dad
          "I'm not giving you the bolt" "huh?? I just want my helmet of darkness back :(" 
          
          poseidon really meant when he said sally was "a queen among women" lol he showed up literally 0.5 seconds after sally summoned him 
          
          "...find the right path" IMMEDIATE CUT TO PERCY AND ANNABETH (and grover ofc). NOW THAT IS GREAT CINEMA TO ME
          
          overall I think the show just lacks a bit of humour and proper pacing but I think rick knows of that too since he wrote they'll be focusing on that more if they have a second season, so I'm definitely looking forward to it. but this season definitely discovers a lot of emotion, especially grief and anger that I feel was only ever accomplished by the musical. however, like I said, unlike the musical they weren't able to give the right balance between humour, action and emotions. and time constraint was definitely another issue as well but I think disney might allow a little more action, gore and time since s1 was a MASSIVE success despite the criticism and backlash.

          and why does percy get four pearls? does he lose one along the way? or uses it somewhere else? please tell me he does because even though it didnt make much sense in the books apart from the fact that someone probably predicted the meaning of the prophecy (which again doesn't make much sense either) I really liked the fact that he only got three pearls and they had to fight over who was gonna stay behind
