My name is Rebecca Barnes -- "Rikki" or "Becca" -- kid sister of James Buchanan 'Bucky' Barnes, my brother. I was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on July 18, 1932. I was young when my mother passed away after moving to Brooklyn. After that, we were separated after my father's death during training at Camp Leigh. I was sent off to boarding school, at a very young age. 

All I knew was, that I was missing someone important and that was my brother. 

I learned that my brother, Bucky had died later on while on a mission with Captain America, while I was in boarding school. Somehow they managed to revive him. They brainwashed him and turned him into their greatest asset during the Cold War. After that, Hydra acquired him. I'm sure you know the rest. He became known as - the Winter Soldier. 

I ran away from boarding school and my other living remaining family. I went to search for my brother. Decades past, no sign of him.
[Rebecca grew up, got married and had children. She was sent to an Alzheimer's hospital when she was old. ]
