Some Revisions that have been made for the official rewrite for Stage Hearts 2!
          
          1. We find out at the beginning that Oliver moved in with Derek after graduation, and Hannah went to live with Courtney nearby.  They both got their union clearances, and Oliver got a job as Derek's understudy not long after graduating.  Hannah is still a college student, and Morgan is still her roommate.  
          2. Derek began to exhibit symptoms of appendicitis for at least 48 hours before it burst.  Oliver knew something was wrong and tried to warn him.
          3. Derek's appendix bursts backstage about half an hour before a show, leading to Oliver's emergency debut.  Hannah shows up and drives him to the hospital.
          4. Morgan and Derek still meet in the hospital.

So, after doing some research, there are going to be some EXTENSIVE revisions in the official Stage Hearts 1 rewrite, some of which have already been added to the published draft.  
          
          1. Let me explain how production licensing for Broadway shows works.  It IS possible for a musical that is still on Broadway to release production rights.  For example, Altar Boyz did it in the late 2000s.  Hadestown, which is still running, has released an official "teen edition" for high schools.  However, with Chain Breaker being as big of a deal as it is in the book, I don't think they would release the official version while they are still running.  They would probably do something more like what Hadestown did.  So, moving forward, the version of Chain Breaker that Hannah and Oliver act in is a "teen edition".  
          
          2. Luke has been written out of the series altogether.  He felt like a throwaway character, only appearing for about ten minutes in Book One, showing up for fifteen minutes to tug on some heartstrings in Book Two, and being completely absent in Book Three.  This change has already been made to the published version on Wattpad.  
          3. To be honest, I never did think David would be too happy in an intimate relationship.  He always seemed to be the sort of guy who would be happier disappearing to the countryside and being left alone with a dog.  From now on, David is a country boy.  
          4.  Hannah gets her driver's license partway through Book 1.  Her graduation gift from her dad is a car.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT STAGE HEARTS TRUE CANON: 
          
          Since I will not be publishing the rewritten version of Stage Hearts in favor of actually publishing it, here is some information. 
          
          1. Hannah gets her license sometime during Limitless and her graduation gift from her dad is a car, so she can drive now
          2. Oliver joins Derek in New York about a month after his HS graduation, gets an agent,  and gets booked into the Chain Breaker company as a backup Enso shortly thereafter
          3. Oliver is already with the cast when Hannah moves to NYC to be a theatre major 
          4. When Hannah moves to NYC, she lives with Courtney and they are practically sisters 
          5. Derek is backstage before a show with Oliver when his appendix bursts, not in the park, forcing Oliver to make his debut last minute 

With Wattpad deleting DMs, I wanted to announce some VERY IMPORTANT UPDATES in regards to the Stage Hearts series and Saving Starlight. 
          
          1. EFFECTIVE MAY 13 SAVING STARLIGHT WILL BE UNPUBLISHED FROM WATTPAD. I am trying to get it published for real. 
          
          2. A FOURTH STAGE HEARTS BOOK HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED.  
          
          3. As of now anything posted to the current Stage Hearts trilogy is to be referred to as the “draft canon”. The “true canon” is being rewritten for publication. What you are reading is essentially the draft and is NOT the true canon.  
          
          4. “One Step at a Time”, due to the nature of events falling out of step with the true canon of Stage Hearts, is NOT to be considered true canon, as it needs to be rewritten. Only the “Backstage Tales” stories are to be considered True Canon.
