Hi everyone. I know I don't post much, my health hasn't been good so I've not been writing most of the time. I'm just dropping a message to ask people if they might consider signing the petition to Save Shadow and Bone (link below). 
          
          It's a show that means a lot to me as someone who is queer and disabled. It really hurts to have that representation taken away. It came as a shock to see the cancellation after months of campaigning with hashtags to show Netflix our passionate fandom still wants more, especially when they just the other week released a mobile game that people thought surely was meant to promote the show and a sign of a positive announcement instead! 
          
          The fandom is also even more riled up about this since several writers/producers were involved in negotiations or outspoken supporters of the writers strike for fair pay and better treatment. It very much feels like a retaliatory cancellation to punish them, which is wrong itself, but also is affecting so many more people on the show losing jobs, with the cast and crew surprised and heartbroken the Six of Crows spinoff also isn't happening now.

If anyone following me is into Savisnow, there's a new Savisnow fic up on ao3/fanfictionnet by shyesplease! I did the art to go with it as part of the SnowbarrySpot April Minibang and it's a fun read, a little bit of UST-y fluff for them.

I tried posting a link to another Six Sentence Sunday for my current Savisnow WIP oneshot but I don't think wattpad liked it since it disappeared from here. Anyhow, it's up on my tumblr.

I haven't written for some time due to health reasons, but I'm starting to get a bit better now. Plus, I've felt fairly motivated lately by lovely comments I'd gotten so I'd managed to do some planning on a WIP at least. 
          
          I also ended up writing a new Savisnow one-shot that is a third done so far. Since I have a fair few people asking about this lately... For anyone who follows me for Savisnow stories - yes, I still intend to write more. Believe me, I really want to. I've still got plenty of ideas for the pairing to get out of my head and onto the page. But 2020 was not good for writing motivation and so far in 2021 my life is pretty hectic due to work and I don't know when that will change. I can't say when more will be written except some day.

Please update one way or another 

I wouldn't have thought people need to be told this, but having seen a friend's fics reposted without their permission recently apparently it is necessary to say in case the fandom etiquette has skippedthe notice of some people. 
          
          Please DO NOT repost other people's fanworks. No matter how much you like them. Why? It's hurtful for the fic writer/vidder/fan artist. Because it takes away their ability to make changes or have a choice on where to post. It also separates them from being able to see likes/comments, so they don't get the feedback that helps inspire them to create even more fanworks.
          
          If you really want to see a fanwork on another platform, suggest it to the creator - but also respect if they don't want to post it there. Do not repost without permission.
          
          If you want to support fanworks,  share *links* to them. Favourite/bookmark them and let others know how much you enjoyed. Write recs posts to explain what you love so much. Just do not repost without permission.

Warning to people who use fanfiction.net as well, there's currently a JavaScript hack going around - it edits profile bio pages and changes your backup email. It can spread by viewing profile pages or even by hovering over a username. There's a Reddit thread with details about the hack but no official response from the site admins. There's a chance they might need to roll the site back to a previous version to fix it, so some people are recommending backing up stories just to be safe. Reviews can only be backedup manually I think though but if so be careful to do it whilst logged out to avoid infection.

Would anyone be interested in me uploading my older stories here? I have a lot for Stargate Atlantis, Primeval and The 4400. As well as some for HP and Fringe and a few other fandoms I only wrote a little for. I'd probably upload them by character or pairing as collections for the one-shots.

Just a little note about "Why Should I Trust You" for those following me for updates on that story. I am still writing it, hoping to get another chapter up in the next couple of weeks. I've just been a little busy lately focusing on some other projects, including a multichaptered SaviSnow S3/4 AU that is slowly in progress. :)
