Busy trying to find a teaching position. Meaning I doubt I'll be able to update anything or take things off hiatus

Hey I wanted to come by and tell you personally that I’m working on continuing the book as we speak! I enjoyed reading your comments and it makes me so happy that you like it! I’m working on getting ahead on the chapters as we speak and I’m doing this so that when I go back to college that I can just post everything. But I will be posting on the first Sunday of next month and the third Sunday of next month as well. This will also give me time to edit as well, I hope that you can wait just a little longer!

Thanks again for reading everything and I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Pokemon can not retain a mega form. It's not meant to be permanent and probably would hurt the pokemon to be forced into a permanent mega state

Gosh I know the mega are cool, but you literally can't break the physics of it. They made a whole flipping movie about forced mega evolution

@puppuphk oo yes, I agree about the bond phenomenon. But even then it's usually in dire situations or in intense battles.

I just done understand how someone could think mega evolution ever being permanent. If that was the case it'd just be another evolution not mega. Nothing is permanent for power ups in any Pokémon form. Just look at how much trouble Lucario was when he was a mega with Korrina. If they were like that all the time it'd be scary over powered to the point of I don't want to battle you as it's not fun that your Pokémon is so over powered with insane stats all the time.

TRUE- that’s one of the flaws with a lot of stories. They think Mega Evolution is a power up that lasts forever and can be used by anyone. In reality, the reason why Mega Evolution works is a Pokémon and Trainer must have a strong bond and *usually* must be in battle. There are some edge cases in the Anime and the Manga where it’s possible outside of battle, but there’s usually a massive plot point happening (Anime: Kalos Crisis, Manga: Meteor about to destroy the world.)

And on the topic of Ash Greninja, the Bond Phenomenon is different from Mega Evolution (this is my opinion on Ash Greninja btw-). If any Pokémon was able to do something similar, it would’ve messed with the entire reason why the Bond Phenomenon was different from Mega Evolution.

Bond Phenomenon is when both Trainer and Pokémon have an extremely strong bond, and their passion is the same. Mega Evolution is when both Trainer and Pokémon have a strong bond and have two special stones.
