Hello there, fellow wattpadian, this is presiditor (also known as Chase Reeves) and I would like to formally welcome you to my humble home(page).

A little bit about myself seems appropriate, considering this is the "About Me" section, so here we go. My name, as mentioned above, is Chase. I have been writing recreationally since the third grade. As of this August I will be the president of my schools creative writing club and the head editor of our literary publication, Broken Barriers. BB has won the majority of Oklahoma's student publication awards since its creation thirteen years ago, and it is an honor to take up the pen for my school.

The people that inspire me the most, writing-wise, would be (in no particular order) Kelly Bristow, my creative writing teacher/ BB advisor, Abigail Jones, my best friend (with benefits), last year's editor, and general non-douchebag, Susanne Collins, and Veronica Roth for their excellent dystopian trilogies.

I would say my writing style is heavily based in satire. The majority of my non-novel-lic prose and poerty pieces are stooped with hidden humor and Nixon puns. What I think is most important in writing novel-wise is character development. Dynamic, three dimensional, characters and lush, natural, dialogue can keep a story going even when it must venture into the most abysmal of plot slumps.

***EDITOR INFORMATION***
I have been trained by Kelly Bristow, Novelist Editor/ English Teacher/ Creative Writing Instructor/ and Magazine Advisor, in the art of making things better for the past three years. Under her tutelage I have revised and improved roughly one-hundred pieces of poetry and short prose to the standards of Broken Barriers, the number one student-run literary magazine in Oklahoma..
