          I think i know why sirius black from harry potter is named sirius. Someone mayalready know this but here it goes. So sirius is an anamagous right (i didn't spell that right) he can turn into a dog. There is a constellation called canis major or greater dog. Well in the constellation one star is a named Sirius. And that is why his name is Sirius and he can turn into a dog. Also did you know the star Sirius shines its brightest during july 3- August 11. This period of time is called "dog days of summer" now that is it for my quick history lesson. Byeee
