Slash:

On this site, you will find an abundance of slash. Elijah/Klaus and Jeremy/Kol slash. Don't like, don't read. It's a waste of your time and will only make us angry.

Counterparts:

In S2 of The Originals, a concept called the Beast behind the Red Door was introduced about Elijah. It was his'dark side' , the side that he hid all of his violent deeds.

This was a side of him that intrigued the both of us, and thus we have... expanded upon this 'Beast.'

Instead of keeping him as the same as Elijah, we have made him a separate side to him. A counterpart. He has his own name, his voice his darker and grittier. For example, in this scene here, this is where we see what we consider to be the Beast (skip to the scene with Elijah in it, about two minutes in).

The sound of his voice and, in particular, the way he says 'aaand, there it is' is exactly what we see as Beast.

In addition to Elijah's Beast, we felt it only fitting to 'create' another side to Klaus. You know, the vulnerable side, the abused side--the side that he hides because of his shame? It's his wolf, his instinct, or, as we lovingly refer to him as, Wolfy.

Magical Kol:

In our stories, Kol is still able to perform magic through crystals which are the source of his power. It acts like a talisman only he relies far more heavily on it as he does not have his own magic through his body but for the residual from Esther's spell, which made him an Original Vampire.
