some tips for one shots: 
          dont use rlly complex words(dont only use rlly simple words balance them out)
          make the story a bit more clear maybe? (idk im tired asf rn)
          and put warnings for stuff like smut n shit (homophobia and ansgt?) the reason for that is some people could feel uncomfortable reading stuff like that
          do more then smut (ik its the first one shot but include angst, fluff, lime and more.
          instead of making one rlly long one shot maybe make some parts?lets say you make a angst one shot and you think its getting a bit too long .. you make another part! id recommended have max 3 parts but i dont really have any say in what you write
          if youdont know how to end a angst(not only angst)chapter you could make another one in between if ur making another part
          if making multiple parts… the first one is angst?(example)the second onecould be fluff and then lemon maybe? 
          maybe make 1 chapter 1k-3k words? i feel like thats average but write more if it makes you feel comfortable ofc!
          make sure to explain where they are and whats going on in the story.
          since on shots are short storys you should often limit them to 1 part but if needed make more parts
          remember to like make sure people r aware of the fact thats it another part if ur making a part 2 or 3 to something 
          example:
          “roommates” [pt 1??]
          “Roomates” [pt 2]
          like that ig
          use words that make it easy to read and understand.
          make sure to say if in 3rd person pov or maybe the characters pov
          ive seen ppl not include its another au sometimes and if ur gonna write something in modern au and write that in the beginning 
          dont write if you dont feel like writing
          is u have writers block or anything of the sort may e ur taking a break make a small chapter thing abt it name it like “Authors note” and write that ur taking a break or whatever it is ur doing
          dont ever feel forced to write anything 
          one shots are often many chapters in one story that aren’t connected whatsoever.
