Hi!
I don't usually post messages in the open but I've been re-reading 'The Key to Anchor Lake' and I just want to express how much this story comforted me—especially because it tackles the theme of grief. I want to praise how beautifully-written it is. And the characters—man, they're as flawed and as human as we are. What I like most about this story is that it is grounded on reality (except for some factors, which I find tasking to list down ). Also, what makes this story so compelling, aside from its excellent way of sustaining its tone, is its ability to touch the strings of one's heart. I honestly bawled my eyes out throughout my read—especially in the latter chapters where Blaire goes to the cemetery (I won't add more details so to not spoil it).
Anyway, I want to thank you, dear author, for writing this amazing story. I enjoy reading your works! ♡♡♡
