Lori Townsend

I've been a reporter for nearly 30 years. My work has taken me to communities across the Midwest, Canada and Alaska. By day I am a full fledged news hound. At night, I'm a fiction writer, crafting stories about the things that scare me. My novels follow racist militias, human traffickers, corrupt politicians and international conflict.
I work in broadcast journalism and I'm currently based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Operation Wind Storm is my third novel in a series featuring reporter Zilla Gillette. 
Ghost Ship is the second in the series. Zilla follows human traffickers through the little monitored Arctic to the east coast, after nine teenagers vanish from the arctic shoreline near Nome. 
My first book- American Home Wrecker tells the story of an anti-government militia in Alaska. The leader is a bitter veteran, hell bent on taking the country back.
