Starborne Update: All existing chapters have been re-edited! Some required more changes than others, but I feel really good about the additions, and hope you all like it.
I have an outline for the rest of the story put together, and plan to publish the remaining chapters in a more timely manner. If you started the book a few years ago, I recommend maybe reading the chapters again to get a sense of the new parts before moving forward.
I really, really appreciate all of the support and comments this book has received. You all keep reaching out and reminding me there is a community that wants to hear this story, even when it has been months between chapters. That's rare - I want you to know I do see all the comments, and appreciate them so much.
@lilyyywrites It has been some time, yes. That makes it all the more exciting, the little new additions, subtle or obvious changes that seem to make more sense or makes you understand the situation and characters more are always welcomed in my book, it feels like I'm reading anew but at the same time with deja vu (that rhymes). The edits aren't much to really change the settings of the story but they sure are and can be improvements. Despite common belief, most readers don't fall out of love with their sinker books just because of the time lapse or the on hold, I am an example for I am very much invested with Holly's story. I would frequently check your profile to see for any updates or news without seeming too pushy. It's not rare, just...unseen by the public. Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing Ms Lily. Hi, everyone!!! As you know, it has been a long time between updates for Starborne. I really appreciate how people are still so supportive of this book, and invested in its continuation.
However, I realized when writing some new chapters that the story feels very disjointed to me, and I want to make changes before moving forward. When staring this book I never imagined it would become so long and complex, and the character development just doesn't fit with what I hope to accomplish by the end of the story. I have just re-edited the first three chapters, and plan to do so for the rest of the book.
If you like this story, feel free to follow along and read the new chapters from the beginning! I am already so much happier with the characterization and details that have been added. Once again - you all are truly the best!

I was really stuck on how I wanted to wrap this book up, as there is a lot of plot to get through. I wrote this so piecemeal, I can't wait to finish so I can go back and make edits! Thank you for your patience, even if there are discrepancies in the book.
I can't promise regular updates, but I swear I will give you an ending eventually!
